My first pregnancy I did not want things sugar coated and a friend recommended this book to me.  It is hilarious and she really tells your like it is.  If your not easily offended I would recommend this to all of you.

    I love that book! It is so funny and I learned a lot. I bet you will enjoy it as long as you love to laugh about things. :)

    I bought this book but I am not really sure I like it. Sure she is funny but it is pretty much just an anecdotal tale of her own experience in pregnancy. I find her sense of humour sometimes funny but other times just crass and inappropriate. Don't know that I will finish the book...

    It's a book by Jenny McCarthy of course it is goign to be crass and inappropriate!

    Lol true...and I do like inappropriate sometimes. Parts of the book are hilarious. I just wish it had a little more substance mixed in with the humour. But like she says in the beginning of the book she is not a writer and it is her own story. So all power to her.

    OH NO!!!! I didn't know that about her....totally turned off right now. Does she talk about it in the book? BC I will probably throw it across the room!

    I would really LOVE a funny book that also talks about pregnancy but her anti Vax crap totally turns me off. If it wasn't for that...does she talk about it in the book?

    Thankfully she doesn't talk about it in the book. So if you just try to forget who wrote it, it's pretty funny.

    There is nothing about her not believing in vaccines in the book. She did not start that until after her son was born and diagnose with autism.
