Low Blood Pressure

My blood preassure is normally pretty low, but I went to the doctor yesterday at it was at like 88/80! Its never been that low before. The nurse and my OBGYN were not worried about it at all, and I'm not super worried but I've just been starting to think about how I hope it doesn't complicate labor if it drops a TON. We also had birthing class last night and I asked how much low blood pressure effects it if you take an epiteral or whatever, and she said it should be fine and I just seem like a calm person. Anyway, has anyone had low blood pressure normally and it effect you during labor?

I'm sure I am over thinking it because everyone said it was fine, but just curious.

Hi. I'm just like you. My blood pressure has always been extremely low, to the point that doctors and nurses are always a bit surprised and ask, "Is this normal for you?" I asked my doctor if this would be a problem in regards to an epidural and she said that while it COULD be, there is a protocol in place to prevent any major issues. She said we'd just have to make sure everyone is aware at the time of the epidural that my BP is unusually low to begin with. I'd love to hear any stories of low BP people who have successfully had epidurals....
