10 yr anniversary today.. need ideas!! (NBR)

Ok ladies.. I need some quick thinking.  Today is our 10th wedding anniversary.  Crazy!! I can't believe it's been 10 years.  We haven't had time to really schedule anything for the two of us because DS has baseball twice a week and soccer on Saturdays and DH has been working crazy hours and hasn't been home until 7-8pm every day so it just hasn't worked out. Not to mention that I'm 37 wks pregnant so there's that. lol   

I feel SO guilty that I haven't planned anything or bought him anything. I don't know what to do. He's not really a sweets guy so treats don't really work.  His birthday is also coming on on the 26th.  I know what he really wants is for me to go into labor so he can go to the Indy 500 race in Indianapolis like he does every year but I don't really have control over that one. :)  

Any ideas?  There's a magazine that he really wants a subscription to.. I was going to subscribe him for that.. but that's really not a big deal.  I don't really have time to prepare a meal because baseball goes until 7.  We have soccer Saturday morning and I booked a pregnancy massage Saturday morning too.  I feel really guilty about booking that too.. just because i'll miss DS's soccer game AND that means DH has to take both kids to soccer by himself.  He says he doesn't care and told me to go ahead and do it.  

I was thinking maybe there's a restaurant near by that I can order oysters on the halfshell for him?  That's like his favorite thing EVER!!  There just aren't many nice restaurants around here.  But he would love that.  And that's kind of time sensitive.. you have to make sure you get them and get them home because they're live.  

Any other thoughts?  He's not frilly at all so he wouldn't do a massage or anything like that.  I feel like buying him clothes or hats or things are kind of cheesy.

    Happy anniversary!!!

    Sorry.  I don't think I have any ideas. :(  Sounds like you guys are super busy.  Maybe an I.O.U. for something special after baby comes.

    Yay! I love my mom.  She's going to pick up an order of oysters on the halfshell from a restaurant by her and meet me half way.  I'll have to leave work a ltitle early but that's no biggie because I have to leave for DS's baseball anyways.  That will give me time to get home and get them in the frige and put a bow around them!  That will make me feel better. 

    I don't really care if he does anything for me because I took 3 hours last weekend to get my hair done and I'm getting a massage on Saturday and I had my pedicure done the week before that so I think he's good. lol

    It worked out!!  I was really mad about baseball though.  I really wanted to order him a prime rib to go with it but they wouldn't take orders until 4pm which would have been too late because I had to be back to get kids by 5 to make it to baseball by 5:30. lol  So I just did the oysters. Met my mom.. picked them up.. ran home.. put a bow around them in the fridge with a note that said happy anniversary on it.  Then I get all the way to school and get an email that says baseball is changed to 6:45!  lol  I was like darn it! I could have gotten his steak and not had to leave work at 3:30. lol  

    Oh well.. it worked out and he enjoyed them.  He was like when did you have time go to there? I said well I didn't.. I worked a little magic with my moms help.  :)
