6 weeks no symptoms

Hi all, I'm 6 weeks pregnant and haven't had any symptoms at all. If something didn't tell me to test I would have no clue I was pregnant. This is my second baby, with my son 8 years ago my breast and nipples were extremely tender and I slept all the time. I just want to be sure everything is ok in there, some sign that I'm pregnant besides a test.

Re: 6 weeks no symptoms

  • With my first I had no symptoms until around 8 weeks, which is totally normal. Some women just don't until the baby is big enough for them to notice.
Since you already have a LO, just enjoy being pregnant without the exhaustion and morning sickness while you can.

  • Congrats and welcome.
I didn't have any symptoms till last night. Insomnia has arrived :(
  • Congratulations! This is my third baby and each pregnancy has been different so far, so I think it must just be individual.
    Glad to have you here!

I know how you feel, this is my first pregnancy and I have never known anyone who has been pregnant, I am concerned I don't have enough symptoms too. I only know what to expect from movies, books and forums. It kinda feels if your not living with your head in your toilet and your boobs about to explode with pain that something is wrong.
I am happy to know I am not the only one feeling this way based on the amount of posts about lack of symptoms.
  • I also have very few symptoms...only sore breasts and tired. I'm hoping it stays that way!
  • I also have very few symptoms, only mild cramping every now and then and I feel like I could sleep ALL THE TIME!!  Completely different so far from my last pregnancy.

  • I have no symptoms either. The occasional sicky feeling is as far as its gone. Not complaining, just not what I was expecting when expecting
  • I'm 5 1/2 weeks with no symptoms yet. :)
  • I'm glad to hear that it seems to be normal to not have symptoms. Hoping we are the "lucky" ones and our beans are healthy and growing. I took a 4th test today just to see the word pregnant... I feel better
  • I'm right there with you. I have just been exhausted, mild boob soreness and hungry. But all of these usually happen to me right before my period. My beta numbers just keep going up, so this bean must be happy. I am going to try to just be thankful of the lack of symptoms while I have them.

  • Same for me just so tired and I want to sleep all day
  • I've had afternoon sickness from being exhausted. I'm a school teacher and on my feet all day. I've also been super tired and emotional. I've had mild cramps, but nothing of concern. I only started having symptoms like 5 days ago.
  • It's normal for them to come and go. It's such a double edged sword. I want symptoms to "feel" pregnant but don't want to deal with sickness!!! :/

  • With my last two pregnancies I was barfing daily from the moment I got a positive test, and my boobs were on fire. This time I'm only mildly nauseated from time to time and my boobs feel fine. I keep telling myself every pregnancy is different, but I get that it's hard not to worry.

I'm 6 weeks and have mildly sore swollen breasts, am tired, but if I wake up in the night I'm wide awake- so if I happen to wake up 2 hours after I fell asleep, then I'm up. Otherwise I'm feeling good. Every once in a while I get a slight crampy feeling, and anxiety, but I feel pretty good over all. Hoping that I don't get sick!!
  • I had the sore boobs all last week, but I haven't noticed the last couple days.  I've had a couple mild waves of nausea late in the afternoon, but grazing all day has kept that mostly under control (so far!).  Today I have felt completely normal.  I'm not any more tired that usual.  I'm still exercising regularly, so I think that's helping to keep my energy up.
  • I read that at 6 weeks some women supposed to have morning sickness, I just made 6 weeks today and none (thank God!). When I was pregnant with my first child I had morning sickness in my second trimester. This is my second pregnancy and so far tender breast and unusual cravings.

I don't feel pregnant either. I'm right at 6 weeks. I called my doctor to express concern because I felt like my breasts were more full and tender last week than now. She also said symptoms come and go. I'll get my ultrasound Tuesday so I can see there really is a baby there. I'm a FTM so I had no idea it would be like this. Best wishes to you all. This thread is very comforting. It's like you're afraid to say you feel good.
