Baby jiggles around a lot

My baby is 2 months old. I noticed that when he's awake and not feeding, he moves his arms and legs a lot. Not all the time, but a lot. Just kicks his feet and moves his arms up and down. Is this normal for his age? Anyone else have an active baby?

Yep, my 6 week old is crazy active. He punches and kicks all the time, even when napping. He seems pretty happy though and usually smiles while doing it.

My boy is 6 weeks and intensely active haha. He likes to hit me while nursing. Super fun lol

I'd be more worried if baby wasn't active. Moving around is their way of learning hand and foot coordination. Eventually, the spastic movements will become more fluid and they won't be whacking themselves on the head.

Haha... My LO tries to find her mouth and ends up hitting her temple all the time. Glad to know she's not the only infant appearing to be going through a head-whacking phase! I have been putting her on a play mat where she can kick a rattle, which keeps her entertained for quite a while. Love watching her learn!
