I haven't felt much of anything by way of movement - maybe some bubbles here or there, but it just as easily could have been gas or my pulse. My anterior placenta that the ultrasound tech informed me of at my anatomy scan accounts for a lot of this, as well as a little extra weight, I'm sure. However, I was lying on the couch tonight at 20w4d and felt what I can only describe as a kick! I know other moms have said that when you finally feel it, you'll know it. Well, apparently my baby boy decided to skip the flutters and move right to the martial arts! Can't wait till hubby is able to feel it, too. He's so excited to be a daddy - I desperately want to be able to share this with him in a more physical way than "I promise he's moving in there!"
Still, it's a major milestone. Time gets all wonky when you get pregnant, doesn't it? It feels like forever and a day to get to each milestone, but when you look back at it, it seems like it took no time at all! Here's to stronger and more frequent baby kicks in the weeks to come!

Re: Well, Hello Baby!
It's funny isn't it, some days you can really be struggling with being pregnant. Not having any energy, struggling to put your socks on and then you feel a little kick or flutter and it makes it all worth it. X
