Re: Tuesday Twin Check In
Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): fraternal boy/girl
Symptoms: TIRED and pretty sore. My vagina is aching and so are my hips. Never have I been so tired and although I've felt pretty good for most of my pregnancy... People are really starting to get on my nerves.
Appointment AW: dr apt on wed. No more ultrasounds for me. C section is booked for May 26.
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: just hoping my blood pressure doesn't go up again:

My filter is gone and it feels good to say whatever I want. Hmmm yesterday a fellow bridesmaid suggested we take a road trip to Florida for my friends bachelorette party, I said " I would rather kill myself than take a road trip to Florida" hahaha I guess that was kind of rude, I take it back
Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): Di/Di girls
Symptoms: Sore abdomen, sciatica pain in my left side (baby A is very low), so tired even though I do absolutely nothing all day long
Appointment AW: appointment this thursay for growth us and check with doctor. She's gonna start checking my cervix every week. yeah....
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: I feel like I'm just waiting to go into labor, like anticipating it. When we seen a specialist he thought I would go into labor at 34 weeks...now I'm 36 weeks. I know that they don't know evrything but it really screwed up my head, but I'm happy I've not went into labor.
Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): fraternal boys
Symptoms: Braxton hicks, that's about it.
Appointment AW: appt tomorrow. group B strep will be done tomorrow yuck.
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: I'm on home modified bedrest and so worried that my water will break while I'm home alone. Baby A is very low and I'm afraid if that happens I won't have much time!
Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): di/di girls
Symptoms: Horrible back/hip pain! I'm just exhausted all the time. Swelling started in my ankles and hands. Had to take off 2 of my rings, but thankfully my wedding set still fits. Braxton hicks, headaches, and leg cramps.
Appointment AW: Nothing until next week. Group b strep test, bpp u/s and doctors visit.
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: Still working 40 hours a week. On my feet all day, so I put them up as soon as I get home. I feel bad that I don't have the energy to spend running around with my 2 year old. We still have fun, I just can't play the way I used to.

I guess the only thing I can think of is to my poor DH. It was back when I was around maybe 16-18 weeks. I had horrible morning sickness and the smell of hamburger helper made me throw up. He only made it when I wasn't home at night due to the fact. Well one night for supper he made our son and I mac and cheese. We didn't have enough for all of us, so he warmed up some leftover hamburger helper. The smell made me so sick, I yelled at him and told him he needed to go into another room to eat. He was upset at the time, but it did make me throw up. He realized then that I wasn't trying to be a bitch, but that it literally made me sick. I just could've gone about it in a much nicer way than chewing him out.
Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): fraternal
Symptoms: same old - swollen lady bits, leaky boobs, sciatica, heartburn, migraines, BH, only new ones are a huge increase in discharge. Twins dropped on Sat & lost some of my mucus plug
Appointment AW: Nothing this wk
Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: Anyone else hit a wall around week 33? I feel like hibernating until I deliver.
GTKY: I peed myself about 5x on my birthday & everyone knew why I kept changing my clothes lol
Fraternal team green
Symptoms: General soreness--legs, back, stomach (when a baby sticks its butt in my ribs)
Appointments: nst went well today, c section scheduled for June 11 (38 weeks). I haven't had any indications that I'll go earlier than that, but since I'm getting into the homestretch I'm getting nervous (and aware that I could go at any time!).
Questions: who's having a scheduled c section? At how many weeks? Do you think you'll make it that long, or do you think you'll go into labor sooner?
Good luck @Emilywooddesign at your appointment! My biggest fear is going into an appointment and them sending me to L&D!
@Emilywooddesign Yes they can still move at this point! I didn't figure they could, but I found it they can first hand. Somewhere between 32 weeks and 34 weeks mine went from both being head down to now both being transverse. So it's a good thing they have my c-section scheduled, because we have no clue how they'll end up.
@jjvanwagner25 you totally jinxed me!! Thanks lol. I went to my dr apt yesterday and they determined that I had developed pre eclampsia. 2 hours later and I had my c section ( it was glorious) and now both babies are just hanging in the NICU being monitored. Naomi is 4lbs 6 oz and Julian is 6 lbs 2 oz. I'm so in love
Did anyone else start to feel crampy after week 33? I've been up since 4 with lower abdominal cramping but the contractions are sporadic so I'm not convinced it's worth a trip to L&D yet. A lot of what I've read about twin labor says that sometimes you feel more menstrual cramping than strong contractions so I'm taking it easy and drinking a ridiculous amount of water, but I've only had 3 periods since the end of 2012 & can't tell if this is a growing pain (like round ligament) or what
@vflor87 I was crampy from like 30 weeks. When I told my doctor she said crampy is good, just your body preparing itslef. I felt like drinking a ton of water and resting and changing positions often helped.
