Clomid users, advice appreciated. Newbie

I was put on clomid 25 mg. My progesterone 21 lab draw prior to this was 13.9. My first round of clomid 25 mg days 5-9 my 21 day level came back 15.5, BFN. My second round of clomid 25 mg days 5-9 my 21 day level came back 52.1. My dr. said I definitely ovulated. Just praying this may be it. Have any of you been on Clomid? If so any positive experiences with these ranges? Thank you!

I have taken clomid a long time ago. It didn't work for me but it does for many many ladies. I don't think progesterone levels have much to do with your chances of success unless they indicate you haven't ovulated which would of course mean no chance of pregnancy. Looks like you are doing good! Fingers crossed

Small tip - have your DH tested before any more rounds of clomid. You only have 6 cycles lifetime. Don't waste them if all possible avenues haven't been considered.

The fact that your husband didn't have a SA before clomid was prescribed makes me think you are taking clomid from an OB. Please don't do that. See an RE. No matter how good your OB is, he/she is not equipped to handle fertility.

Well I have endometriosis, 2 previous m/c's and an ectopic so my husband wouldnt likely be the problem. I am seeing a specialist as well.

I was told most women will ovulate with clomid and most likely produce numerous follicles but a small percentage can have a side effect of it thinning your lining so much that nothing can implant.
According to my fertility specialist, that's what most likely happened to me and she was disappointed my OB had me on so many rounds if it with no success before a referral.

I had 5 cycles of Clomid (split between 2 pregnancies). I ovulated twice while on Clomid. My first ovulation my levels were 143 and I ended up pregnant. The second time I ovulated, my levels were 48 but I did not get pregnant. Due to a clomid shortage in my area, my doctor switched me to Femera and it was way easier on my body and I successfully became pregnant while taking it. If I had to choose between Clomid and Femera, I would take Femera for sure!!!

I took Clomid and successfully ovulated on the low dosage. Success, right? Nope! We were so busy focussing on my health, that my husband didn't get his swimmers tested until after 9 cycles! Pretty stupid, hey. But my husband is healthy as a horse, so we just assumed that I was the problem. Turns out, his white blood cells were attacking his sperm and rendering them useless. So I would strongly recommend testing your DH, just in case. Good luck

My doctor would not prescribe clomid to me until my hubby got his swimmers checked out.

Thank you ladies, yes if I don't have a BFP this month, My dr. is referring my husband to a urologist. This is only my second round. He didn't want to keep me on it any longer than that. I really appreciate the feedback!

My RE required we get my DH's sperm tested before any treatment. I'm on my final round of clomid and hoping for that BFP! Definitely a good sign that you ovulated (: I didn't ovulate twice and had to go on higher dosage. I took 200mg this time and my hormones had me a hot mess! Hopefully you'll stay on your dosage and get a BFP soon good luck !
