my boyfriend has a cousin who's girlfriend i recently became acquaintances with shes a cool person to be around but it seems to me everything that comes out her mouth is negitive towards my baby for example before i got preg. we would smoke now that i dont smoke anymore shes saying its safe to do because she did it ..which i wont do another time she said it was ok to drink wine.. is she naive or are her intentions bad ?

    Some women do have a glass of wine occasionally while pregnant. But it's definitely not often and not a lot either. Smoking cigarettes while pregnant can lead to low birth weight and other complications. If you're smoking weed, you really should stop while pregnant. If only just because it's illegal in most states and if it's in your system when you deliver, some places will report you to child protective services. It's a personal decision. If you have questions about the effects of smoking and wine while pregnant, your doctor will be the best resource. Overall I don't think she has bad intentions but she does seem to be trying to influence you against what you think is best so she might not be the best person to hang out with.
