Has baby dropped yet?

I'm a STM and I'll be 36 weeks Monday. I started seeing a chiropractor this week because my back has been killing me. I'm pretty sure as of today baby has dropped. All the movements are a few inches lower then they were and my lower back and hips were super achey. Anyone else feel like baby has dropped? I was reading online that second time moms usually don't drop until labor but I'm not sure how accurate that is. I don't remember when my first child dropped.

I always dropped pretty early. Doesn't really mean anything. Having said that, I still got excited. Lol

I'm 34+2 and baby dropped last week... Been super uncomfortable since. Dr is sending me for an ultrasound because she thinks baby is measuring bigger then she should be

I've been carrying LO low this whole pregnancy and have felt him on my bladder since his movements became strong enough to feel, and I've never been truly kicked in the ribs like many other moms have experienced. I'm a FTM and also wondering if those who have gone into spontaneous labor with previous pregnancies dropped beforehand.

A lot of times they don't drop as much or significant as FTM prior to labor but it can of course... I hope I do so I can breathe a bit better!

Not gonna lie. I know it's early and all but I'm hoping this LO comes sooner than later so I got excited when it felt like she dropped.

I think mine dropped too, but then I started doubting it because i'm having rib pain. And i'm with you, please earlier than later!

My husband just commented that it looked like I may have dropped a bit.

I've been carrying fairly low this time around (thank God, because the rib action gets vicious) but baby definitely dropped today. My belly has visibly changed shape. Makes sense considering I felt like hell the other day, as if my hips were separating and my groin was stretching out.

This is probably wishful thinking on my part but I noticed my feel/ankles and legs are less swollen since a dropped a little. Is that possible or is it all in my mind? Haha. I woke up and actually had ankles after a solid month of terrible swelling!

My baby girl definitely dropped a few days ago. I am a FTM and almost 37 weeks. My belly bump looks dramatically different now and I can breathe!!! Yay!!

I'm a FTM and I think my baby dropped today. I was having some serious BH contractions all evening so a took hot shower to try and relax. While I was swaying, it felt like an actual drop in my lower abdomen and then pressure on my pelvis. I'm 35 weeks today. Was this actually lightening or am I just anxious to meet this little girl?

I thought my baby was still high but I got a cervical exam today and the doc said his head is super low, so I guess he dropped at some point!

I think my baby girl dropped in only 33 weeks & 6 days along. It's a bit painful in my lower stomach when I'm walking for a long time. I have to pick up my tummy & stretch or place a pillow on my lower stomach. Sometimes when I'm at the mall w/ my husband I have to sit down anywhere gets annoying real quick

Not yet! My mom told me that only one of her six babies dropped - she was induced for all of the rest of us. I'm anticipating that I'll be the same way. Totally fine with me, I need all the time to prepare that I can get!

Mine dropped Sunday.

I could breath so much better!! I had an appt Tuesday and they confirmed baby is super low. I never noticed a drop with my previous two, but had to be induced with both so maybe I'll go on my own this time????....;)

I don't know if she dropped or I'm just getting bigger...but my belly now rests on my legs when I'm sitting.

I felt a 'pop' and something dropped while laying in bed during my 31st week. I was terrified that my water had broken but luckily it hadn't, although I'm sure it had to do with baby dropping. These pics were taken 24 hours apart, not sure if others can see the change though.

I def. see a change! Are you more comfortable now? I know I felt like I could breath a little better but my hips and pelvis we not liking the change.

@hswan26 glad I'm not the only one! Haha I felt much better for the first week or so after he dropped, but now the little ninja must have gotten bigger because he keeps stretching up and kicking into my ribs even with his head so low.

But a heating pad has been my saving grace for hip pain. I use it every night, works like a charm. Hope you are finding some relief too!
