Anyone else feel dizzy?

I've gotten dizzy about 3 times in the last month or so but it only happens when I'm on the subway. I live in the city and travel during rush hour, so the subway is crammed with people. I guess it gets too hot for me or something and I have to get off at the next stop right away or I'll fall down. I've heard from my other pregnant friends that this is normal. Thank god they told me that or I'd be rushing to the dr

I was feeling dizzy one day (luckily, I was at home), and laid down for awhile.  I broke into a sweat for a minute or two, and then it subsided.  It felt a lot like when I've had low blood sugar episodes in the past.  Maybe try to bring a sweet snack on the subway and nibble during the ride?

I get dizzy often because I have extremely low blood pressure. Sitting down and putting my head between my legs helps. Slowly raise your head and drink a lot of water.

My blood pressure is usually on the low side, and they had me sip a soda the first time I donated blood to get it up.  If that's the case, maybe a small coffee or other caffeinated beverage for the ride?  So much is going on with your body right now, things can easily get thrown out of whack.
  • They tested my blood pressure recently at my midwives and it was perfect. Maybe I'm just overheating ?
  • Maybe because you're moving. Ever since I got pregnant with my first, I get motion sickness very easily now. One of the times is on elevators.

I'm 14 weeks and have been having this same issue the last 3 weeks. My Dr said my blood pressure was perfect so his suggestion was to drink Smart Water. He thought I wasn't hydrated enough (even though I drink a gallon of water everyday) and said between that and replacing electrolytes (which can also be done by drinking Gatorade it's just got so much sugar and is very unhealthy) it got better immediately just by drinking Smart Water!

I've had really bad dizziness almost constantly. So much so that I get dizzy when I scroll down the computer screen at work. My doctor suggest trying Dramamine. I've heard there is a non drowsy version as well. Haven't tried it, but maybe it works?

I'm fourteen weeks and two days and I've been having dizziness spells three to five times a day with it sometimes turning into fainting spells. That combined with blood pressure issues is the reason why my OBGYN is sending me to a cardiologist.
  • I have lots of dizziness too. I am 11 wks 6 days. I thought maybe I was anemic but my bloodwork came back normal. My blood pressure is good and I drink a ton of water. My ob said some women just get dizzy during pregnancy. She suggested getting up slowly from reclining positions, not getting overheated, and increasing my water intake even more (as if I need to go to the bathroom any more than I already do!). All of those have helped, but today in yoga I struggled with down dog and dizziness but I think it was the position.

I struggled my entire preg with my 2nd baby. I have had spells of it during other preg but not like I did with him! Sleeping it off is the best for me since now dealing with anxiety attacks since that happened.
  • My blood pressure is always perfect when it's measured! The only time I ever had it caught dropping was when a trainee nurse took my pressure after withdrawing blood and she look like she'd killed me! She said to her mentor "urm it's just dropping" and I said that's because I'm about to fai... And then dropped haha. My blood pressure is only low when I'm about to faint and in pregnancy it's been awful. If I get up normally and not slowly, if I shower, if I lie flat on my back, every time I stand up after sex or if I stand up for a long period of time.So I have to be quite careful. Comes with horrible dizziness to warn me though.
