I cleaned , shopped & redecorated everything in my house wanted to have a nursery but we will be having the baby in our room until we move to a bigger home. I wanted to decorate her little space in my room & was wondering if anyone else has the same problem. I really just wanted to see nursery pics . I need ideas this is my crib plus I'm bored out of my mind ..lol $-)

  • Hi! I'm due in a week and our baby girl is shacking up with us too! I'll attach photos of the crib and changing table!

Baby is also bunking in my bedroom, although I have a large room this is her half.
  • We're sharing a room for now until we move into our bigger space. My SO has been amazing with rearranging and getting things to fit.
  • We put up curtains to separate our spaces and baby girl has a very compact but functional setup....
  • We are in a similar situation. Im due May 22nd too, yay!!! I wont be able to set up pretty much anything, because my husband starts a new job June 1st and we are in the process of slowly moving to my in-laws basement "apartment" (2 hours away) its 1 bedroom and a very small kitchenette and living room. But she will have a decorated corner of the bedroom as her dedicated space. I just wish I could "nest" instead of pack and clean a house im not staying at 8-| Oh well, the new job is going to allow me to stay home with our baby girl way past my originally planned maternity leave once she arrives.
  • We're currently living with our in-laws until we get the hospital bill. It has been so hard not being able to "nest" and prepare for baby in that way! We will be moving into our own place at the end of June, so I keep telling myself that I can decorate then (ha! we'll see if that happens with a newborn!). :) Good luck to you! One more week! Woohoo!

  • @kateandsiah Yay!! 10 more days to go :x @chelseabriana26 I'm sorry you guys cant start decorating or nesting I know the feeling but hey now you have extra time to get great ideas for when your Lo gets here.. Good luck on everything :\">
  • We created a baby nook in our bedroom. I also got the the crib/ changer combo! I would have gotten it if baby had his own room or not. We have more bedrooms downstairs but don't want to move our son down there quite yet. I will have to post a picture of the set up for you in the am, I don't think my hubby would appreciate me taking a picture at midnight. Haha! But we have the crib against one wall. Painted the middle wall with as accent wall with a canvas cubby storage piece against that wall. In the opposite corner from the crib we have our rocker and ottomon. I love our little baby nook!

My daughter is 3 wks old and she's been bunking with us until we move in 2 weeks. It's cramped, but temporary.

We have her crib to one side and a changing pad on top of my husbands dresser. My husband and I consolidated some of our clothes and gave her 4 of our drawers to use until we move and she has her own room.

Our glider is at the foot of our bed with an end table from our living room.

Sometimes we have to shift things in order to move around. It's not ideal- but like I said, temporary so I'm blocking it out for now!

Honestly there is crap everywhere, but it's nice for her to have her own corner for the time being. And she's super cute and mellow- so I'm focusing on that as I rush to pack up the whole house.

My baby will be sharing my room with me for the first few months then u will eventually move him to his own room. I also can't attach pics so put a pic of his side of room on my profile.
  • "nursery" is in our room. Consists of a pack n play with bassinet, diaper/powder/wipe/cream storage, and changing table. A skinny tall cloth storage system is next to it containing burp cloths, clothes, and safety stuff. We'll add more "needed" items as she grows older, but she's moving to her brother's room once she's 4 or 5 months. Her swing's in the living room, a bouncer's in the den and game room, things she'll grow into are in the garage.
