my little one just turned 5 months now waking up several times at night when used to sleep through. Not sure if she has my head cold colder weather or 5 month thing....

Re: Not sleeping

  • Could be the 4-month regression. I've read it can happen between 3-5 months. Or teething?

  • I'm having the same issue. And naps aren't going well either. I feel I've been dealing with this 4 month regression since about 3.5 months and my LO is teething, too. He's fussy almost all day, can't sleep well when he's down, and wakes up anywhere from 3-4 hours at night. Most of the time he cries and is hungry but other times it's just he wants to be awake. And he thinks 'time to be up for the day' is 4:30am every day -_-
  • Same I was spoilt she's just started doing it at 5 months thought it might be bc weather bit colder but afraid of overheating her

I worried about that with my LO during winter a lot! We don't have central air/heating so at night we just bundle up under covers. I always worried he was t warm enough or he was too hot. But everyone kept saying 'if he's hot/cold, he'll cry and tell you'. I also was told always dress in one layer more than you are in for babies.
  • My LO is 5 months old and last couple weeks he'd been fighting naps and waking up a lot during the night. Turns out it was because he had a tooth coming in... I had no idea and he just seemed restless and never seemed to be hurting. I would say it was the 4 month sleep regression but as soon as the tooth popped up he went back to passing out all night long.
