  Might depend on the mood of your flight crew. I think the doors usually have a placard with the weight - memory tells me it's about 35 lbs depending on aircraft type. They may ask you to confirm that you're ok lifting that much. For me personally, if I'm in a situation where I need to do that and blow the slides...adrenaline a going to do that for me no problem! I say go with it until someone tells you otherwise.

  From what I've been told, pregnant women are not allowed to sit in emergency exit seats. I'm 28 weeks now, and I flew at 24 and 26 weeks pregnant. Both times I was offered a pre-boarding slip so I could choose a seat close to the bathroom and was told that the airline has a policy excluding pregnant women from those seats. I'd call your airline directly and ask them. I flew Southwest and they told me their policy over the phone.

  I'm in the airline industry. Yes you can sit in the exit row if "you are willing and able to open the exit in the case of an emergency". LAP CHILDREN are not allowed as you wouldn't be able to open the exit if you're holding a child. Children under 15 are also not allowed.

  I'm a flight attendant. It doesn't say that you can't sit there, but depending on your flight attendants they might move you. More or less for your safety. If anything happened and the emergency exit was needed, it would put lots of stress on a pregnant woman to throw the windows out of the plane and help evacuate.
