For me, the leaky bladder continues... I'm about 99.9% sure that my water didn't break, especially after talking to my mom last night and learning that not only did she go way past her due date for all 5 of her pregnancies, including twins (though in that case, it was past the adjusted date that the doctors gave her rather than the 40 week mark), she also was induced for 4 out of 5 deliveries - only with my oldest brother did her water actually break on its own. So if I'm like her (and so far, my pregnancy has been pretty similar to hers), the chances of my water breaking at 36 weeks are slim to none. That's a relief, but I guess this means it's time to break out the pads since apparently my bladder control is now shot. Thanks, baby.
I am just super exhausted, have major back pain from the baby dropping more, and am just overall cranky. And I lost my mucus plug yesterday morning (sorry if tmi, but whatever), so that was a lovely surprise to deal with. However, other than the intermittent cramping/contractions I've been experiencing for the last few weeks now, there are no other signs that labor could be beginning, so that's good. I'm thankful that she's still 'cooking', but I now understand why people say the last month of pregnancy is usually the worst(for the most part). I'm starting to feel miserable, and I'm really ready to meet this baby. But, I can wait a few more weeks of course.
I had an exciting mothers days in labor and delivery. I woke up around 2 am with contractions. Strong and close together. They would go for a while and then stop. When 7 am rolled around and they were getting worse, not better, I called my Midwife. She asked me to go to labor and delivery. They gave me IV fluids and round one of my steroid shots since I'm still 32 weeks (33 tomorrow!). After trying several medications we found one that stopped the contractions. It makes me very dizzy but atleast I'm still pregnant! I have to take it 4 times a day until I'm 34 weeks which means I can't drive. It's some serious dizziness. I also have to go back to L&D today for round two of my steriods. Stay in there little one! We're almost ready for you to make your grand entrance! Just not yet...
Cranky as well today! Sleeping is nonexistent with all the aches and pains but u ladies know this... Also wondering if anyone else has experienced pressure on the rectum area...i have been experiencing it for a while now but seems to be getting worse i guess as baby grows. Ive had tailbone pain from early on so im guessing the pressure is sort of the same thing and doc said mine started early bc i have a tipped uterus just curious if any of you are going through this? And for the last week my heart rate is so much faster i hate it!!! Makes me feel like im working out all the time ugh

I've had a few similar experiences with a few trips to the hospital. I also received the shots for lung development when I was 31 weeks because I was dilating and contractions were only a few minutes apart, but I'll be 35 weeks on Wednesday (yay!). Little man no longer has us convinced he's determined for such an early arrival, but make sure you're taking it easy and get lots of rest mama!
Pretty sure LO dropped this weekend. I feel like I got kicked in the crotch and I am now an amusement for DH as he watches me waddle around everywhere. Oh, and LO has found new joy in punching my bladder while we are in public places causing me to just about pee myself... Oh the joy!
A lot of pressure, really sore feet and my legs they feel like I ran a marathon! Charlie horses every single night ( what a joy)! 3 weeks cannot come soon enough!
Everyone is sounding so rough!! This home stretch is taking it's toll. I hope everyone finds some relief today.
I have the usual symptoms but this weekend's new one is swollen ankles. It's so so uncomfortable! I ended up needing to ask for a work from home day today. I feel like i take advantage of being able to do this so often but i'm miserable. I'm hoping i have no issues switching to working from home full time by June 1st.
I'm feeling pretty good overall, but when i first wake up in the morning, I feel like I've been hit by a train. My whole body is sore. After about 30 minutes, it goes away and I feel ok.
I can't find a comfortable place to sleep. We have so much to do, I can't sleep well anyway. DH gave me an amazing foot rub this weekend -it was heavenly. I feel like I'm starting to waddle and I'm doing my best not to at work. Otherwise I feel much better with this pregnancy than I did at the same time with my first so I'm trying to stay positive. Hang in there ladies, we're in the home stretch!
I'm feeling really good today! My feet are slightly swollen but I'm elevating them as I type so they should be going down soon. I think today is gong to be a symptom free day *fingers crossed*
I also noticed my feet are swelling a bit... It has also been really hot though! I am wearing just my wedding band as a precaution now because I am worried my engagement might get stuck!
I am so jealous of those that are in the home stretch! I have 6 weeks left. Had a quick ultrasound today and I'm wrong my baby is head down now...... Still can't comprehend the rib pain/stomach pain.... The baby must have a giant butt Can't sleep at all because of hip pain as well. Wishing you ladies some rest!!!!
I physically feel way better than I do mentally. I am pretending and believing that I'm totally fine and ready, but the amount of displaced anxiety and planning of daily activities between now and my due date is...making me an erratic insomniac. I think I just need to acknowledge that I'm freaking out a little!
Lower back pain and more lower back pain. I'm so over it!
Oh and just general tiredness. My activity level has gone from doing multiple things a day (laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc) to only accomplishing a task maybe two. I'm exhausted and just want to sleep all day.
My cankles are a hot mess. One of the doctors in my practice saw them last night and was like "uhhhh you need to get compression stockings immediately!" So I will start wearing mine they hurt but really it just comes with the territory of being on your feet constantly!
My rib pain is out of control. I undo my bra at least 4 times a night at work under my scrubs. And it's painful to the touch by the end of a shift. I wish I could just go braless for the next four weeks, but no one needs to see that mess.

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
Forgot to add this fun little ditty to my symptoms...anyone else get these moments of sheer panic where your stomach drops out of your butt and you can't catch your breath? It happened periodically to me but definitely happening more and more frequently as I get closer. It's definitely half excitement and half "holy shit" but I've noticed a significant uptick at being in the under 30 day mark...

I'm doing ok today. Walking short ways put a lot of pressure on my belly but otherwise good! And ravenous! I haven't had a huge appetite until now! Six weeks to go!
Meh idk how I feel today. Baby hasn't been moving as much today so I'm not really sure if I'm just being paranoid or not. Don't know if I should call my nurse or not I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon anyways but idk
@klkonwi mine are definitely more sore and sensitive now. I noticed that yesterday.
@katyertl I hope your LO starts moving and grooving soon! Mine has about 2 "quiet" days a week and it makes me crazy. Usually I just poke at him and he'll shift so that will ease my mind. I'm probably totally messing with his sleep schedule!
@amccoy129 I'm at the doctors office right now they are gonna put me on the monitor just to check. I feel so silly but I'm not one to call over every little thing so maybe I should just chill out lol we have had so many ultrasounds too that at $200 a pop I hate coming in if I don't have to
What a day! I woke up at 11:30 last night with some BH and cramping and couldn't get back to sleep. So I stayed up and finished a report. Totally exhausted though!
I had some really bad back pain at work. I tried different positions even some yoga. Nothing helped. They sent me home at noon. My SIL drove me to her house and had me rest there while she called DH. We called the dr and they said to come to the office. They hooked me up to the monitors and I was not in labor, thank goodness! I'm just dehydrated and my temperature has risen a little and they checked for infection. I'm on orders to stay home and rest and hydrate for a few days.
I called back to work to check in. Apparently people were taking bets on me and were disappointed that I wasn't in labor.
TLDR: back pain, not in labor, told to stay home and rest a few days
I thought my water broke yesterday at a flea market. Turns out I peed on myself. I can't pee in a toilet but I sure can pee on myslef in public. Ugh, Neurogentic bladder >:P now I'm worried my water will break and I won't know it...or I'm gonna be smelling pee panties for weeks. Yay!
I too feel a lot of pressure when I walk. I told DH I felt like if I squat and push he just might pop out. He did not like that thought
@devyns2nd it's so common for ppl to pee themselves and come in to check if it's fluid or pee. But in your case that would be particularly frustrating! Now that I've actually been pregnant and have had the discharge and peed myself.... I will never be upset with a patient because they can't tell the difference btw pee or fluid!

...Can you be my nurse?
Our L&D nurses are hateful. I'm sure you work with some that seem to hate "false alarms". I ask all of them if they have children now. So I can say "I'm sure you remember". gotta remind them this stuff is scary and I'm not just a crazy person.
ETA: one winky face is enough. Two is boarder line creepy.

I hope my nurses are as great as all of you nurses on here!
I second this!!!
I third it! I am praying that the nurse I had the first time I went to triage, she was super nice and I guess the next best thing if I can't have a J15 nurse
