So this afternoon, I felt really tired and decided to lie down for a nap. I stood up and could feel a pool of liquid in my underwear so I ran to the bathroom panicking because I'm at 5w6d and still petrified.
Well my concern was right and I ended up pushing out a lot of blood into the toilet. After calling DH, I was luckily able to talk to one of my nurses after hours. She said that of course, a 3rd m/c could be coming or my medication that I take vaginally could have ruptured a capillary. Since I was lying down, it all pooled up inside and that's why it seemed like a lot. As I spoke to her, still sitting on a toilet, the blood lessened and when I wiped, it was a darker brown.
Has anyone had this?
I've been told to rest all evening and monitor any blood followed a phone call when they open up in the morning. We may bump up our u/s date but the are worried it's too early to see anything worth noting and enough to calm me down for awhile.

Had light spotting all evening that ended around 10 PM, which we took as a good sign.
Doctor had us come in first thing this morning with a heavy warning that it may be too early to see anything as we are 6 weeks. She was very quiet during the u/s and DH and I couldn't see anything promising, but we were wrong. Apparently, both embryos attached and have a good heart beat we could see and measure but not hear. The bad news is I have a Subchorionic Hematoma next to them both which could risk a miscarriage for one or both. Luckily, it's on the side of them and not underneath, apparently that's a good thing?
So I have bed rest for the weekend with an appt Monday morning.
Honestly, the best part of the appt was our doctor saying that she can't believe the roller coaster they've watched us go on in the last year. It felt really good to have feelings of dread validated by her.
Thank you all so much for your thoughts and your input!
Both babies are measuring great with very strong heartbeats! Thank goodness!!!! Our doctor wants to followup next week because she is too excited to wait the normal 2 weeks.
Thank you everyone!
Finally got a hold of my doctor after hours, she was disappointed the ER couldn't tell me where the hematoma was and I am again on bed rest until our appt on the 19.
We were very disappointed with the ER staff and got into an argument with the physician assistant, never saw a doctor, when he tried to do a pelvic exam. We refused it as our doctor told us previously she wanted to be careful doing ultrasounds as she didn't want to irritate the hematoma, so we didn't want to trust a non specialist poking around.
Let the waiting game resume!
