twins ? bleeding ? u/s ?

So today is a special day for me, but going to be a very long and anxious one as well. Today is my 23 birthday and I'm exactly 13 weeks pregnant with twins as well.

I'm also going about an hour away to get a 3d ultrasound done which is very exciting but nerve wrecking at the same time. The reason being is that I have been bleeding and the doctors aren't sure why and at the hospital they had diagnosed me with a threatened abortion/miscarriage due to my bleeding and not knowing the cause they said it may be an impending miscarriage.
So like I said today is going to be long its already full of mixed emotions. The ultrasound was scheduled to determine what kind of twins I'm pregnant with, whether they are fraternal or identical, to determine if they share a placenta or not, and for measurements... But now it's going to be an ultrasound to see if everything is okay and if I'm still blessed with being pregnant with both. I hope they are okay and I not only continue this pregnancy but I continue it with two healthy babies !!!
Has anyone with twins bleed before and it turn out okay or not be ttts??

    First of all, good luck! I hope all goes well today and will be sending prayers your way!

    I'm also pregnant with twins and have been bleeding since very early on. Everything appears healthy and they're measuring a week ahead...it doesn't make it easier when it starts and I still worry all the time. But, try to stay positive! Hoping you get to see your two little ones in there and healthy today!!

    I hope the bleeding doesn't mean the obvious, it must be a hard time, hopefully your scan will show you your little miracles are fine and healthy! X

    I never bleed and my twins are TTTS survivors. I've never heard of bleeding being an Indication of TTTS

    I'm preg with fraternal twins and I was spotting around week 9? We figured out that it was most likely from my progesterone supplements causing extra irritation to my cervix. I also bled a bit after my internal exam (they did an affirm to make sure I didn't have bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection). it's terrifying.

    Thank all of you very much for responding !! It turned out to be a great birthday after having the ultrasound done. They both are still happy and healthy with 163 bpm ! They still dont know the reasoning for bleeding but say everything is okay as of right now. I found out they are fraternal and the sexes of them but I had them write it down and stick it in an envelope cause my aunt is throwing us a gender reveal party. I cant wait till then so I know what they are ! :)

    @DennyBabies congratulations and happy 2nd trimester just stumbled upon is your question I am exactly 14 weeks today just like you pregnant with twins. I also have been bleeding and the doctors don't know why but my babies seem to be perfectly healthy and cervix is closed. My babies are di di twins and have their own placenta and sac. I go back at week 19 to see what they are.
