weeks in to months

So I been reading alot about how to figure out how far along in months I am and so far Im confused. At 22 weeks that means we are 5 months and 2 weeks. 6 months is 24 weeks we still have two weeks to go to be 6 months but I also read that week 18-21 is 5 months and 22-26 weeks is 6 months. So what's the truth??

    No problem! Of course if you broke each of our months down into (4) 7-day weeks, we'd be pregnant for 10 months. Some people say we are pregnant for 10 months, but doctors typically don't and I'm going with their opinion on this one hehe ;-)

    that's the one I use, too. I started saying I was 6 months when I hit 22 weeks. Not gonna lie, that was exciting lol

    The chart makes so much sense. I think the problem is that people say they are 5 months when in fact they are 4 and just STARTING their 5th. I will be 24 weeks on Wednesday so 5.5 months.

    Yeah I tend to tell people how far along I am in weeks, but I notice men tend to ask how many months along I am. I just hit 22 weeks so I tell people I'm starting my 6th month. I believe it's week 22-26 that you are in your sixth month.

    I have just been telling people I'm 6 months (22wks) because they think I'm showing a lot! LOL!!

    @LoveLee85 Haha, I honestly don't think it does anything. I've accidentally hit it too and the report page has only actually loaded one time. When the report page loaded, I just clicked out of it and nothing happened. That might just be because I'm on my phone, but that's been my experience.

    The was I think of it we get credit in name for a month we are still completing. So at 22 weeks your 6 months but really you wont have been pregnant for 6 months until you finish the next 4 weeks. 24 weeks is technically 6 months in weeks but your 6 months two weeks prior to that according to the chart. You would think at 9 months that would be your last day / due date but technically we are 9 months at the start of the last month getting credit for that whole month before we live it.

    I'm 22+5 and say I'm in my 6th month. I also use the chart posted above. The way I look at it, we are pregnant during the 9th month as opposed to giving birth once you hit 9 months. I like the chart better than using 4 weeks as a month, because then we would be pregnant for 10 months and I don't want that! Lol

    I change my as wet depending on how I feel. If I feel huge, I say 6 months.

    If I feel cutesy round, I say 23 weeks...or I have 4 months left.
