  • I have been taking these for the last couple of years -- https://www.naturemade.com/multivitamins/multivitamins/multi-for-her

They ironically have more Folic Acid than the Nature Made Prenatal variety, and they are cheaper!  I'll switch to the Prenatals when I get a BFP, though, as I'm sure there is a reason for some of the other supplement amount differences.

I loooooove the VitaFusions gummy's. They taste like candy! I've also had problems with pill forms and giving me horrible nausea due to the iron in them. These have been wonderful.

  • I switched to vitafusion gummies this month from target gummies only because I was using Amazon prime and that was the best option. I prefer the target ones. The vitafusion seem harder, almost stale, textured. I'll be going back to target brand when I get through the bottle.

Same here! I loved the Target brand and thought the vitafusion ones were stale. Think I'll be going back to Target brand once I'm done with the two bottles (from a BOGO sale).

  • When I went to the ob for a preconception visit he said to just go on a one a day multivitamin until I get pregnant, but when I saw my primary and told her my plans, she told me to go on prenatals, so I did both and got the One a Day Prenatal. I don't have any constipation, but it is two pills a day, I take them in the morning before I eat breakfast.

Do you have to worry about overdoing it on some vitamins? I always worry about that but I don't know how much is "too much"

I don't know. I only take prenatals but if I were to take multivitamins as well I would be worried about overdoing some vitamins. So I just was wondering what @bublesmiled thought since she does both it seems

Edit: ahh I was writing when you fixed that :)

The One a Day brand Prenatals is a two pill set.  I think one is mainly a multi-vitamin and the other is the extras needed during pregnancy.  I looked it up on the website and this is the description:  If you’re pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant, you’ll want to give your baby a great start. One thing you can do is to take One A Day® Women's Prenatal — a complete multivitamin that provides nutritional support in a two-pill formula with Omega-3 DHA and high levels of nutrients like folic acidiron and calcium. It’s designed specifically for women before, during, and after pregnancy.*

I just switched to NatureMade Prenatal with DHA. It's been less than a week but they haven't made me nauseous yet, as the Targets did :)

My OB says she doesn't recommend one prenatal over another (including Rx). She said they are all pretty much the same in terms of benefit and the one she wants me to take is the one I am able to take. Since every body is different, I'd just have to find the one that best suits me and stick with it until/unless it started giving me problems (stomach upset, etc.).

I've also been taking this since my lady doc said I should take one since we are TTC... it was recommended to me by my bestie that is 16WKS. I've been taking it since 4/20 w/ no challenges.

FYI: I found it at CVS for about $18 (60 day supply) but I just found it on Amazon for $13 + $1 off coupon for a 90 day supply.
