North Metro Schools

Can anyone give me any first hand opinions/impressions of Fridley and/or Spring Lake Park schools?  We need to start looking at where we want to enroll our kids soon and I'm really struggling with what to do.  We are currently zoned for Fridley school district but live between both districts so either one would be just as easy as the other.  We are open to open enrolling and even moving if we need to.  But honestly, I have no idea what the strengths and weaknesses are around here to make an informed choice.  I appreciate any insights anyone may have.  TIA!

    Hi Veittobe,
    School ratings are listed on Zillow.com. I have found that information very helpful myself. Fridley and Spring Lake Park both rank a 5 out of 10. Champlin Park is close to you however, and ranks a 7 out of 10 (which is one of the best in the northern metro).
