I got my mom a bouquet of beautiful hydrangeas and put them in the back seat so they would not be crushed. I get all the groceries in and start cooking and cleaning. Completely forgot about the flowers in the car for 4 hours with the windows rolled up in 90° weather!! Well, the blooms are a little sad looking but, im trying to revive them in water :-\

At least I'll have a good story and we still have the gender reveal cake tomorrow!!!

Are they cut flowers? Try submerging the ENTIRE thing in water. A large kitchen sink works great! I think room temp to cool water. Let it float in there for an hour or so. They should come back nicely!

Also, try putting a little bit of sugar or 7 UP in the water. It might perk them back up again

Lol kinda reminds me of my first mother's day...my ex gave me dead flowers after leaving me alone all day. (Can anyone guess why he's my ex?)

It worked!!! Just a little brown on some of the petals but no longer droopy at all!

Pretty amazing right?! Glad it worked! I wish it worked with all flowers! I think it's just hydrangeas though.
