My husband plans to make me
Breakfast in bed, were going for session 1 of our 3D US package, shopping for baby and then out for dinner - in honor of the sort of prelude to mommyhood... Although, he insists I already am a mom because Im feeding and nurturing our little guy.

So sweet!

Reqlly that sounds like such a wonderful mommy to be day!!

Unfortunately my hubs is out of state for a couple more months for work. I was SHOCKED (bc gift giving is NOT his strong suit lol) to come home to a Sherries Berries and Pro Flowers box yesterday! We've been together for going on 10 years and he's never done anything like this before (he's wonderful in other ways ofc)

But you think SOMEONE is SUPER excited about his little man or what?!?! Hehe

Oh how lovely!! I actually made a side comment to my husband a few weeks ago about not wanting anything/not "really" being a mom yet....and now I regret it! Haha I had NO idea I would feel kind of bummed and didn't realize that I actually do consider myself a mom already. What an odd revelation to have - this FTM stuff is crazy

But anywho - since I made the comment, there have been no surprises. My husband just made a comment that he was debating if he should do something, but ended up not. Even though I was he one to say not to, I still feel a little disappointed....oh hormones. It's all good though. I'll be spending some time today with my own mama and will consider it my last year to really focus in all the love on her with my siblings, before I have my own little one.

That is so cute! My fiancé woke up with kisses and wished me a happy Mother's Day but he didn't think to get anything, he said I'm not technically a mom until our little pea pod comes out... My sister did get me a mommy-to-be card Though which made me so happy!

My babe celebrated for me yesterday and called or Mothers to be day . I'm not celebrating today but I see nothing wrong with it . But I did love him Desmond yesterday mothers to be day haha he woke me up to breakfast and a beautiful necklace

I have a cold so I don't get to get together with my family today and I was super putting about it but I woke up to silly hats and a note from some dinosaurs (he makes dorky hats for holidays. Did paper hats for valentines day lol). We've has a slow, relaxing day and it's been pretty perfect.

Happy Mother's Day! I think FTMs certainly need hugs and well wishes on this holiday. I agree that you are already mommies even if your LOs aren't out yet. The mommy love and care starts long before birth!

Happy Mothers Day everyone! I think my husband has a card for me, but he hasn't given it to me yet. Been a busy day with my family. My in-laws bought me a hydrangea (my favorite) and my parents got us one of those frames to put a picture from each month if the first year in. Its bee a very sweet Mothers Day. I picked on my husband about getting me something because that's what we do, but I wasn't expecting stuff from my parents and in-laws!

I'm excited about our gift to our moms though because we are taking them to a 3D ultrasound place next Saturday so they can see their granddaughter!

It's been a big weekend for me!! Yesterday I graduated from college and then we went to a Garth Brooks concert!! Today my mom, my boyfriend, and I are traveling back home. haven't done anything special but it's still a great day spending time with them! I guess my boyfriend did get me a present - a onesie that says Daddy's Mini-Me that he got at one of the gas stations we stopped at lol

Hubby got me a card and a 3lb bag of Gummy Bears. Gummy bears and ice cream are my favorite snacks/meals, lol. Also how he signed the card made me cry.

My step-mom sent me a Mother's Day card and I've received numerous texts today. Yay me!

Aww my BF is at work but he got me a "mother's love" James Avery charm and we'll see if he has any other surprises. Also, as a reporter at the daily paper here in South Texas, my boss asked me to write a front page column about Mother's Day for a FTM and it came out pretty cute.

My hubby surprised me by setting up the crib while I was still asleep! It feels so real now seeing her room started! He also got a really cute picture frame to put a picture of her in when she arrives. I'm a lucky lady!

My hubby has been at work since 5 a.m. and I didn't expect anything from him today, we're not big into spending money on commercialized holidays. But my in-laws surprised me with flowers which was very sweet!

We went out for breakfast today! (We usually do that but today was fun). We went to target and bought our first set of baby items, also priced out the bigger items. We also are new home owners so we went to menards and priced out our project wish list.

Hubby also got me cute little parenting books (one's a comical one and the other bible versus as we both believe), and a really pretty heart necklace. Tonight he is making me pea soup with confit of peppers and shrimp from Nick Stallino, one of our favorite cooks.

I love my man.

Hubs bought me this seraphine maternity dress I wanted and my mom got me tiny newborn Grizzlies socks and the cutest bolo charm necklace! DH also picked an awesome hotel in New Orleans (headed to port for our babymoon tomorrow!) and took me to dinner at this amazing restaurant. Pretty awesome first Mother's Day! We celebrate everything though.. Life's too short not to eh?!
