My turn!

So, here I am, naked from the ass down, hooked up to a Pitocin pump. At 40+6 today, my US yeilded low fluid, so here I am to be induced! Contractions are starting and very manageable. I can say, honestly, I was not (and still am not) mentally prepared for this. I knew I'd be induced, but not today! But, here I am, and I Can't wait to meet my baby girl!

    Update; pitocin us working well, but baby is so low that she keeps punching her cord, so I have been staying in my side so she stays happy. Pitocin has been ramped up a few times, and contractions are starting to get crampy and long. I plan on going natural, but I have pain relief on standby. Not sure what the fluid level was, but it was low enough to have me admitted within an hour of my US. I'm also on constant fetal monitoring. Baby seems to be doing alright, occasionally her heart rate dips, but I guess that's common with low fluid levels fluid levels.

    Update; been on pitocin for a few hours, progress is slow. Only 2cm and 80% as of an hour ago. Contractions hurt, but not intolerable, doing well with dealing with pain. Kinda feeling a tiny bit nauseous... Getting a little sleepy too. I'm gonna push through it, cause I've come too far to stop now

    Franco Paul born 6/4/15 at 39 weeks.  Mila Francesca born 10/19/13 at 37 weeks.  Both born via C-Section after 6 years of fertility treatments, disappointments and losses. Love them!!
