Hiccups - overdue

I'm 6 days overdue and my baby just got hiccups. Another 24 hour wait or is this an old wives tale?

    My son has had hiccups several times in the last week. (I'm 41w1d) there really is no solid indicator that you'll go into labor soon except your water breaking and solid contractions that follow the rule.

    I'm 40+5 and she's had the hiccups on a daily basis all week
