Stubborn Babies

This is my third child and will be my third time getting induced.. I was really hoping i wouldn't go over due this time around! This will be my last pregnancy.. I had contractions for a week, dilated to 4cm 80% effaced and had my membranes stripped. My dr sent me to L&D for monitoring and then everything stopped!! And now I wait... Scheduled to be induced on Sunday.. No myths have ever worked for me.. Anyone else have babies who just don't want to come out?!! #myuterusmakesagreathome #39wks #overit

    I'll be 41 weeks tomorrow. We've been making jokes about being too stubborn and making a stubborn ass baby lol.

    I'm with you! I really want to avoid being induced, but don't know how hard I can push back on my doc. She feels pretty passionate about not letting me go past 41w. Thoughts?

    You can push your doc as hard as you want! Studies show that the average pregnancy for a FTM is 41+1 and for a STM its 40+5. If everything is healthy there's no reason to induce before 41weeks. Chances are so high of needing a csection if you push it before baby and mama are ready.
    If you want baby out, that's a whole different story. Don't let the doctors pressure you with their timeline unless they have a good reason.

    I have my induction booked for Saturday I'm excited and scared, think LO is playing games with me, she constantly makes me think today is the day and then nothing

    @sailaplay my doc will wait until 41, but not much longer

    @toddabunny my LO is constantly giving me false signs - sad!
