havent had an ultrasound!!

I'm 13w & 2days an still haven't got an ultrasound..I've only heard the baby's heartbeat once!

    I think if you're sure of your lmp and not high risk, they usually don't do an early u/s, just the anatomy scan at 20w.  Could be wrong, though...

    Me either! Like the previous poster said, because I was sure of my LMP and not high risk, my anatomy scan will be my first at 20 weeks!

    Wow that's crazy? We have a dating scan then at 12 weeks they do the down test and other testing and then at 20weeks the scan to tell you what your having

    I only got one this week because I opted to do a genetics test. Had I not, I wouldn't until 20 weeks either.

    I'll have one at around 13 weeks then the anatomy scan at 20 weeks.

    Depends on your obgyn and insurance (if you have it.)

    I've had two scans already, one at 7w6d and one at 8wd6.

    The first was to date the pregnancy because I had noooo idea how far along I was. The second was to determine if there was a heartbeat because I've had a previous miscarriage and my pregnancy with my son was high risk. But this pregnancy is going good so far, so my next scan won't be until the anatomy scan.

    We went to a private ultrasound place and got a little peace of mind ultrasound. I'm so glad I did it!! I couldn't have waited. My first was supposed to be at around 18 weeks. Then a week later we got in a bad car accident and I got one in the emergency room so now I've had two at 12 weeks. I wouldn't recommend getting in a car accident though. The waiting definitely sucks!!

    I'm not getting one until 20 weeks (we opted out of the NT scan). If you heard a heartbeat, that's awesome! 7 weeks seems like a long time, but it'll go fast. I'm all for only doing scans and tests when necessary, and in a healthy, normal pregnancy, waiting till 20 weeks is normal.
