Does anyone else feel nervous about eating fresh veggies at restaurants? Someone told me that they rarely wash vegetables at restaurants, and if they do it's just a rinse under water. Makes me nervous because I keep reading about how well all vegetables and fruits should be washed before eating when prego.

Re: Restaurant veggies
The solution is to cook at home if you are so worried?

You can't shy away from everything just because one person in a thousand has had a reaction to it. If we didn't eat everything we were told not to eat we would have to starve. I am happy and have no health issues what so ever and my mother did what she wanted.

This exactly. I can understand being very cautious about purchasing a meal from a food truck, but I'm pretty confident when I spend $10 on salad, someone has washed the vegetables.

And no I am not anti-vax at all. Both of my daughters have all of their vaccines and got them when the pediatrician said it was time. But thank you for assuming that I am some sort of anti-everything person just because I have my eyes open about the dangers of pesticides in our food.
Why are some women here so judgmental?! Good grief. Ridiculous.
