Baby Names

Baby #3

I recently found out I am pregnant with my 3rd little peanut. I already have two daughters. Their names are Charlotte Grace and Eleanor Kay. I am trying to brainstorm some good classic sibling names for both genders but I am pretty much drawing a blank. All I know is the middle names we will use.... Allen or Lee for a boy and Jane for a girl.
Any input would be greatly appreciated! Bring on the names.....

Re: Baby #3

  • I like Margaret Jane or Beatrice Jane.
  • Thanks for everyone's input so far! I am loving the suggestions of William, Oliver, Theodore, and Henry for a boy. Am for girls I love Margaret, Amelia, Louisa, and Elizabeth.
    Keep the great suggestions coming!

I immediately thought Katherine Jane. Charlotte, Eleanor, and Katherine are a great combo. Not sure for a boy but there are so many options.

    It is pronounced Mar-liss

Thinking we would call her Marlie for short
  • I think it's pretty and sounds good with your sib set.
  • I love the name Marlys!

Not a fan of Marlys but it's not bad.

  • Not a huge fan of Marlys. I don't think it fits with the other names and I have never been fond of Marley/Marlie.
  • Marlys is so interesting. I've never heard that name before.

  • Why not just name her Marley? Usually nicknames are shortened versions of the actual name. Marley isn't really making the name Marlys any shorter, IMO.

I like the previous posters suggestion of Lydia.

    Charlotte, Eleanor and Lydia.

  • I'm not a fan of Marlys. I'd prefer Carys if you wanted something similar in style but it doesn't really flow with your sibset. If I had your two daughters, my short list, including duplicates for emphasis, would be as follows:

    Caroline
    Violet
    Helena
    Rose
    Sara/h
    Christina
    Cecily
    Rachel
    Anna
    Elise
    Victoria
    Alison
    Lucy
    Hannah

    Henry
    John
    James
    Declan
    Gregory
    Nicholas
    Richard
    Peter
    William
    Robert
Christian (assuming you're comfortable with that!)

    EDD for #1: 3/19/17
  • Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. Definitely helping to build my list! Thinking Henry will be the boy name for sure. At least the front runner anyway. I appreciate all the feedback!
