Congestion/Ear ache

I realize I will need to talk to my doctor, but until the office opens later this morning I thought I'd get ideas from people on here!  TIA!

Last week I had a mild head cold and that went away within a few days.  However, the congestion has stuck around and now I can feel my ears aching occasionally.  Any thoughts on what we can take to help??  Thanks!

    Warm baby oil in the ear will help and my OB has told me to use Benadryl.

    Thanks!  Doc said Tylenol cold, pharmacist said to take nothing.  Ended up taking nothing and doing peroxide in my ears and a little Vix behind them at night to help break up congestion.. finally starting to feel better, thanks!
