Lumpy Breasts

I am 5 weeks and one of the first signs of my pregnancy (found out at 3 weeks 4 days) were the nodules along the outside of breasts that swell before my period were bigger. Well, now they are multiplying and super tender. Obviously breasts tenderness is a normal, but is anyone else experiencing this? I'm on prometrium because this is my 1st healthy pregnancy after a miscarriage, 2 chemicals, and a blighted ovum so perhaps the extra progesterone is the reason they are so pronounced. My midwife knows, but I am curious if anyone else has them. Thanks in advance!

    I just found a lump on the outside
    Of my breast by my chest. It hurts and moves around. I guess this is normal? What did your midwife say? I'm a little nervous that this isn't normal... But I guess I shouldn't worry??

    I believe if it doesn't move around is when you should worry, but I'm no expert. It's probably just milk glands enlarging.

    So lumpy. I have cystic breast tissue as it is but this lumpy bit on the furthest outer part of my breast is quite pronounced now that I am pregnant. I am not too worried because breast changes are such a normal part of pregnancy but I will still mention it at my next midwife appointment. I think it's just my milk ducts preparing to produce. This is my second and I remember the same area being the most hard when I was ready to feed my daughter.

    I have them too, I noticed it before I found out I was pregnant and thought it was the prometrium, however when talking to my RE yesterday we were discussing how fast we metabolize the prometrium and if that was the cause because the really feel like that ALL the time. So I've decided I'm having a boy because my boobs hurt like mad, and that seems like something a boy would do lol

    @nik6499 Lol damn boys! It's funny you mention that because I keep having this inkling it's a boy. How weird would that be!

    @robynlawler7 She said it was normal. Just those milk ducts getting ready. I think it's crazy that it can happen this early! She said the prometrium could make them extra tender, but not necessarily cause the physical changes. I would still ask yours, though! This is just what mine told me and everyone is different.
