Is my BP ok?

Ive had perfect blood pressure my entire pregnancy. I am 39 wks and 4 days today. I went with my husband to cvs minute clinic to get his tdap shot today and asked them to check my blood pressure. I have my next dra appt on thursday. Anyway it was 120/88. Is that number ok? I suddenly have had a few headaches mostly in the morning but I was attributing it to the fact that Im not sleeping plus Ive had some sinus pressure going on. Guess I just want my mind put at ease!

    A textbook perfect BP is 120/80. So yours is almost spot on. Especially for pregnancy.

    Absolutely fine, you don't have a headache from that BP. Drink lots of water, or even some caffeine will help with your headache.

    I actually did drink caffeine, I realized it had been awhile since I really had it...helped a little. I always drink a lot of water so I knew that wasnt it. Thanks everyone, I feel better!

    My doctor tells me if my blood pressure gors over 140/90 to head to labor and delivery.

    That's a question for your doctor based on your history. But, those CVS machines aren't as accurate as being at the doctor's office.

    I had to giggle at this, because you took your blood pressure to make sure you were okay, but didn't know what okay was! You should be fine, but none of us know your history, so we can't guarantee anything.

    I didnt take it myself or with a machine. My husband was getting a shot at the minute clinic and the nurse took it for me. And I do know what normal bp is, I guess my concern was I didnt know if your bp does normally increase as you become closer to 40 weeks.

    It shouldn't increase as you near 40 weeks. It normally peaks at 28 weeks.
