As thrilled as I am to be having this baby boy...I can't get my body to join in on the excitement!! It's rebelling in so many ways, it's ridiculous. I'm so bummed out. I guess this is reality, huh?! Zero glitter dust and rainbows over here. Just thankful for my baby boy. Is it September yet???
Am I the only person who is thrilled mentally but feels like a prisoner in their own body?! My first trimester was very easy, and the second trimester is....not.

Re: My body hates being pregnant!
It's so painful. So uncomfortable. I feel your pain mama!
I can't wait for baby Mia b here! Lol
I have had these non stop migraines for a few weeks now. I'm so stressed that I have had a few random Braxton Hicks contractions a day, and they always freak me out! Plus, I'm having vagina pressure?! LOL Zero glitter parties over here!!!
I puke when I get these migraines and can't do anything besides lay in bed and praying my baby boy can't feel all the distress I'm in! :-(
I wish I could go to bed and magically wake up Sept 1st! Lol
The Braxton Hicks are freaky to me,also! I'm a FTM and didn't realize they would start happening so soon. I hope you feel better, too! I was told when the Braxton Hicks kick in, chug water and lay down on your left side.
Last summer I watched my 40-year-old neighbor, at seven- nine months pregnant, mow/landscape the massive lawn, bending over tending to her garden that's more square footage than most people's homes, build a shed, go hiking on weekend long excursions, plus countless others super physical activities...... She made it look so easy! LOL I know everyone's different but damn I wish I was more like her!!!!!

Hang in there mamas.
And after having a few kids you just want to skip to the end lol. Time is dragging now that I've had the anatomy scan AND my due date was pushed back almost two weeks. Come on Sept!
Leaky vag turns into fungus butt
Sore boobs haven't grown (still just an a cup)
Hemorrhoids for the past 3 weeks
Heart pounding fatigue 2x a week
Whole body is itching
I'm not even big but I'm a tad bit miserable and yet, I just LOVE being pregnant and I am so in love with sweet boy! I love hanging out with him all day, responding to his kicks, feeling him respond to me wondering how he is doing...
Sorry for the happy fairy dust. My hormones make me a little magically in awe of it all.
@barrelocarol nothing wrong with a little glitter dust on here! LOL I think my symptom free first trimester set me up for thinking this was WAY easier than it is. It's been a rough two weeks, but I'm feeling okay today and my boy is moving around like crazy!
Also, I'm so glad someone else feels like this! I think there is such a conception that you have to love being pregnant or you somehow will love your baby less. I LOVE my lo already... but this pregnancy stuff is crap lol (even though I told DH, I want to have a 2nd right away... my thinking is get it all done now, so I never have to do this again lol)
@BeachBabe22 that sounds awesome, I'll have to look into that
@katieserrato23 so sorry you're feeling so awful! Hugs and feel better soon.
@Kayciejoe56 I totally know what you mean! Some woman LOVE being pregnant, and I sort of expected to be one of them... but I just don't. At first I felt guilty for not loving it but now I just feel his I feel about it. I've always wanted kids, and I'm so excited to have this baby... But pregnancy isn't awesome. It's like having the flu for 10 months. Don't get me wrong, it's cool to feel him moving around in there, and I love my baby bump but... The rest sucks.I feel the opposite about having another right away though... I'm gonna put it off at least for two years. Can't imagine doing this again any time soon.
@barrelocarol feel free to spread that fairy dust lol...Lord knows we could use it about now
I never thought about it being hormones, and stress is a specific hormone released in your body.
she also recommended a stool softener and obviously increased hydration.
Today, I went to a GI. He poked my heme with some magic lube (never had a tune up like that, but so happy!) and is recommending a laxative in line with my OB's preference.
I'm gonna go in for that tune up every time I need it.
6 weeks of my butt and I'm over it!!!
