is this normal?

For the past 2 days i have been getting ansolutely awful pains in and around my ribs and chest...also i have been very nauseous

    Oh and also my hips have been so achy but i think thats a normal part of being pregnant

    I think it's normal,but if you think that you need to check with a your doctor as well.

    I seem to have a lot of pain just below my left rib and it's only the left one. I haven't mentioned it to my doctor though. The hip aches are totally normal. I would ask your doctor if it seems to be pretty consistent. Good luck!

    @stormyyautumn my rib pain is also in my left side. Baby also favors the left side so I figure it's just him using my rib cage as a pull up bar.

    I have had pain below by rib on the left side since month 5 - the doctor doesn't seem to be concerned. I will bring it up again this week.  I have also had a lot of discomfort sitting down. Anyone else have a lot of pain sitting down?

    @sandrahenriques - if I am sitting in my chair at work for too long without getting up and moving around, my tailbone will start to hurt really bad.

    I thought the hips were totally normal...my rib pain is right under both sides...its like the baby is sitting between and pushing out

    The ribs could be baby I've been having pain in the left side for 2 days with no luck getting baby to move

    Left rib pain associated with pregnancy can be costocondritis - I have had this since week 24 and it has just been getting worse.. I find some relief with an ice pack and lying propped up slightly on the couch.. Driving and sitting makes it so much worse!
