Thick Placenta?

I was told today that I have a thick placenta. Dr just said it means I have a risk of bleeding in the third trimester, and it can limit growth, so they'll have to monitor the baby's growth. Of course I Googled it, and read everything from it being nothing, to it being from abnormalities. My first tri screening and ultrasound came out good. Just need to do my second tri. But of course now I'm stuck on my phone worrying!

I'd like to read personal stories. Anyone familiar with a thick placenta?

Yikes...I didn't think @missemmawoodhouse was rude or cold, To much Dr Google can drive us all paranoid.
I just had my baby boy and also had a thick placenta, there were no complications throughout my whole pregnancy or labor due to that.

I think you need to step away from Google and listen to your doc.

Back to what I originally asked for, I wanted to hear from anyone who's had a thick placenta as well. Not people telling me what to do. Thanks.
