best nursing bra

Im a first time mom wondering if any second time moms can recommend some good, cheap nursing bras. Thanks!

Re: best nursing bra

  • I found a whole bunch at target here and there when I was pregnant with my daughter on the clearance rack for under $5 a piece. I haven't been that lucky this time, but I still check every time I go there lol. Either way, target's nursing bras are much cheaper than most anywhere and I have been happy with the quality of the ones I have.

  • I believe I got mine from Motherhood Maternity when I had my son. I wasn't happy with the shape, but they did their job. I'll try Target this time.
  • I looked at target today and tried one on. I didn't like the way it made the gals look. I kinda felt madonnaish lol. I have yet to find a nursing bra that I love or that fits right.

  • I've heard good things about bravado which can be found on Amazon. I'm going to try it with my 15% off from registering there.
  • I gotta go back to Target to take a look again. I could use a few things clothing wise - growing so quickly.
  • You don't really want to go cheap with nursing bras honestly. You will be living in them for the foreseeable future after baby arrives unless you have a set time to quit breastfeeding. Medela makes some nice ones $40 or so and Elle McPherson has some really nice pretty ones.

Jessica Simpson Demi Convertible Strap Nursing Bra, I know, I hate her too, but it's the most comfortable pregnancy/nursing bra I've ever had, it's $34USD and my now D cups look amazing, it comes in black and nude colours!
  • Honestly I feel like the only person who has never bought a nursing bra or ever used one!! This is my 3rd baby. First I breastfed for 3 years, second baby for 2 years and I always wore my regular bras just maybe has to go up in size and add breast pads inside the cups. Or I wore tank tops with them built in at first when my milk came in and I was really engorged.

My boobs are too big for that. The idea of built in bras are laughable in my case.
