Super Bad Cold! 36 weeks

People.. I have had the same cold twice in the last month! Only this time it's worse! I'm trying every natural remedy I can come across.. But those are all only temporary. Not to mention on top of coughing and stuffy nose.. I have massive heart burn! The evil! I'm supposed to be nesting. Not feeling like death. Sorry.. I had to vent.

    Right there with ya! I've had a cold (or maybe bad allergies?) for about a week now. I didn't have a voice at all yesterday and prayed that the phone at work wouldn't ring so I wouldn't have to talk to anyone and I'm just so tired and not sleeping well. Not being able to take meds does not make this easy. I'm due a week from today so I just hope I'm recovered by then. Hope you feel better!

    Someone recommended lots of lemon (i.e. lemon squeezed into hot tea; lemonade) and it has totally worked for me to help reduce congestion. Hope this might help!

    I'm 36 weeks and have escaped the whole pregnancy up until this point without even so much as a sniffle! Sucks.. Not what you want to be feeling on top of all the other joys of being this far along :) I use hydra sense saline spray and it helps my nose a bit. Try Zantac for your heart burn, works wonders.

    I had a cold at 36 weeks too and I felt like I had been hit by a bus. As long as your blood pressure is ok , you can take multi symptom cold medicine every 4hrs, plus cough drops ect. Hang in there!!!

    I think I have just started getting one today as well as my partner got sick 2 days ago and I'm a bit worried because I only have less than a week and a half and I'm wondering what they do if you give birth sick.. Meaning do they still let you hold your baby

    Right there with ya been coughing terrible the past 2 days went in and it's a viral infection! Ughh. The did give me a zpack and said it's safe at 37 weeks ad we need to kick it out before baby comes. My whole body hurts! Not to mention the constant trying not to pee myself every time I cough!

    yep, mine has been a cold/ allergies for a week now. Just mostly a few sniffles now, but Im hoping its completely gone before labor. Cause breathing exercises for a natural birth are going to be kinda hard with a clogged nose.
