Stress Vent!

Ugh currently in tears. I was merging onto the freeway last night and scraped up the bumper of a car in the lane next to me (totally my fault). The only damage was a couple minor scratches that I personally feel could be overlooked and some marks that could even be wiped off. The total estimate for this man's car to be fixed is $1300!!!! I am beside myself. It just feels like one expense after another is throwing itself upon me and I have done very little shopping for baby. I feel horrible. My mood is "BLAH" to say the least.

Re: Stress Vent!

  • Your insurance should cover his expenses and yours with a deductible. I almost got tboned yesterday by some work truck. I was more upset that my baby could have been hurt and my poor dog went flying off the front seat from me slamming on the brakes.

That's horriable!! Good thing is no one got hurt.
  • Insurance will cover but my deductible is still pretty high. I am very thankful that this wasn't worse and baby and myself are okay!

This is not really funny but it does make me giggle having two dogs myself. I've had a number of moments where both dogs go flying a bit. My one dog Annie, a 45 pound collie mix, like to lay in the back window. Ha.

And to the person who started this thread, I'm sorry that happened to you!! There is so much on my mind right now I find myself making stupid mistakes a lot. It is like having perma PMS.
