glucose test this morning

So I went in this morning to do the 1 hour glucose test. They had 3 options and I chose the fruit punch. I drank it and it taste ok, once I finished I told the nurse I was finished. I started feeling sick right away. Within 2 minutes it came back up. Has anybody else dealt with not being able to keep it down to take the test?

    Me. I handled it fine for the one hour test, but for the three hour, I threw it up in like 20 mins... Had to reschedule.

    The lab technician told me to take quick sips insteadof gulping it down. I felt queasy, but I held it down like a G.

    Had mine this afternoon. The drink gave me such bad acid reflux. And then I gagged with the last gulp. Kept it down though!

    It was rough that's for sure. I drank it down fine but when I stood up... Bleghhh. I held it down long enough to ask what happens if I throw it up and for them to hand me a trash can. They said I can try again next time :-S but the doc said we might just skip it as long as I don't have any rapid weight gain or other side effects of gd.

    I haven't puked it back up, but that's not uncommon. I get really sick from it! Dizzy, tired (like I drank benedryl) and nauseated. I have had 3 tests and different flavor a each time. And thank god so I passed them all (3rd one was this pregnancy, doc did an early one) I go back and have a late term one this week. Hope everything went well for you!
