We're set on boys names, but I'm having the hardest time finding something I love for a girl. I like classic, feminine names like Caroline, Charlotte, Audrey, Olivia, Ava, but since I'm a teacher and all of my friends had kids before me these all just seem too common/taken. Suggestions for something with the same feel, but that isn't overdone??
Victoria. It is my name so I am a bit biased but I love it and while my friends where Amanda A, B, and C or Heather 1, 2, and 3 I was the only one in my whole school.
We are going with Claire. A few other underused classics (I think?) that we liked were Cora, Pearl, and Ruby. Someone here mentioned Etta in one of my posts awhile back, I liked that one too!
PP suggested everything I was going to say. My favorite choices are Alice, Eliza, Susannah, Audra, and Elizabeth w/ a less common nickname (so many to choose from!)
I also love Claire, which feels common to me, but I don't think it really is among little kids anymore.
So glad I don't see ours! We like Claudia. It's feminine but you don't hear it often. Plus, I really like that there isn't a common nickname for it since I dislike most nicknames. Pair it with a single syllable middle name like Jane or Reed.

I wanted Bonnie is I was having a girl. I don't know that is felt the same as any of your other names, but it is a classic and not used much. I also liked Lorine .
So many good names on this thread! I will say, Vivian/Vivienne and Evelyn are very popular right now. As I'm sure Charlotte will be in honor of the baby princess. I am now stuck on the possibility of Juliet, Elizabeth (nn Birdie), Lucy, Lola and Chloe.
