I've been lurking here and was trying to wait until I got my first AF following my d&e before I introduced myself. But today I am so completely and utterly distracted by thoughts of AF/TTC/pregnancy that I can't seem to get anything done. I look at my BBT chart many times a day as if new temperatures will appear. I google other charts to see what my chart might do next. It's insane. If I had a magic 8 ball, I would probably be asking it questions.

I've been posting on the miscarriage board, but this topic didn't feel appropriate for those that have just found out they miscarried. So I figured I'd introduce myself here, even though I'm not technically TTC again yet.

I'm Carrie. DH and I are almost 37 and we started TTC for our first child at the beginning of January and we got pregnant in February. At 9 weeks I found out the baby no longer had a heartbeat and still measured at 6 weeks. At 11 weeks (on 4/10) I had a d&e.

Fertility Friend says I ovulated on Monday, so I am hoping to get AF around 5/14. --And of course, we leave for vacation on 5/15. But this is one time AF is welcome, anytime she wants to come. I'll be honest and admit my husband and I had a careless moment the night before I ovulated. I bled for a long time after the d&e, and I was still spotting at that time, so I didn't think ovulation was coming anytime soon. (And DH is pretty persuasive -- it's a good thing I didn't know him when I was young!)  I'm 7DPO, so I suppose I will find out soon if our moment of weakness had any consequences. As a generally responsible person, I'm rooting for AF, but there is also part of me that feels like a child staring longingly at dessert before dinner time. No matter what happens at the end of this cycle I'm just so anxious to get to the end of it!

Anybody else completely distracted right now?

BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks  •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

    So sorry for your loss.I had a natural MC on 4/6. I'm expecting AF any day now. I'm not temping yet, I'm waiting till AF shows to start that step, but i cannot stop lurking everywhere, googling ttc after MC trying to find out facts and statistics etc. I've been pretty ok up until today. Not sure if its because i should be getting my AF anytime now or what. I'm jsut antsy!

    I'm SUPER antsy!  Glad I'm not the only one.  I charted this month since the post d&c cycle has an undetermined length. I'm impatient, and I knew ovulation would give me advanced notice of when it would end.

    I try to keep busy to take my mind off it, but I'm having a tough time today. I think it's partly because none of the stuff I have to do today is fun, and partly because I can see the finish line of this cycle in the distance.

    Me too! I'm sorry for your loss! I found out at 10 weeks I had a mmc on 4/4 and had d&c on 4/7. I'm just patiently waiting for my AF to show up.

    My morning basically goes, wake up temp, fill out FF, stare at FF trying to see some kind of pattern for about 10 minutes, get up pee, lay down, look if there are any new messages on TB and answer what I can, then FB for a whole bunch of wasted time, then shower and check everything again, eat breakfast, check again, go to work and check about every hour at work if not more than that, then come home and spend a ridiculous amount of time on FB unless DH has a better idea, then bed time.

    I'm afraid I may be obsessed.  :\

    @ymk&amp;ky I can't believe your patiently waiting, I am so impatient for my cycle to start up again.  Kudos to you.

    I'm still antsy lol. So antsy i just ordered a BBT on Ebay. I'm annoyed by my own impatience for AF to arrive

    @bntfroggie, lol, that sounds like my day. I'm a self-employed graphic designer, so it is my job to sit at home at my computer. Unfortunately, that's where all the distractions are -- FF, TB & FB. And my "What to Expect Before You're Expecting" book is in my desk drawer.

    I've thought about buying pregnancy tests, but I don't really think that moment of weakness resulted in anything, and I'm afraid I'd have lingering HCG that could give me a false positive.

    I wish I didn't have so much work and chores to do. If I could do fun things like go shopping, it would get my mind off this stuff and the time would go faster. But instead I'm procrastinating and obsessing.

    @CarrieandRoy I am a horrible procrastinator in fact I'm doing it right now HA HA.  I am a web developer so unfortunately like you I am stuck with my computer and the internet.  I actually have bought a set of pregnancy tests for when the time comes.  My rational was that I would probably panic when I thought I was again and the anxiety of going out to the store and purchasing one was too much for me.  The only reason I knew I was pregnant this time was I took a test that I happened to have in my drawer, I was in deep denial that I got pregnant so quickly I probably would have waited a bit longer to take the test had I needed to go out and buy one.

    So true. If there was a test in this house, I would have taken it by now. But I really don't feel pregnant. Super bloated, but not pregnant.

    @lovekat614, yes that's the plan, but my husband and I skipped the condom one night this cycle and I ended up ovulating the next day. I really didn't think I was even close to ovulating, but then it happened. I'm 9DPO and just bloated, so I think we're in the clear. Can't wait to try next month, though.
