Almost 5 weeks, do not feel pregnant

Hello ladies!
I am currently 4 weeks, 6 days and I feel totally normal. I don't feel sick or super tired... Just wondering if any of you are experiencing the same thing. I did IVF, and had my blood draw on Monday which was 12dp5dt or 17dpo and my HCG is 1,100. I feel like I am suppose to feel "pregnant" with such high numbers...

Re: Almost 5 weeks, do not feel pregnant

  • I have some mild symptoms but I still don't "feel" pregnant. It's a little surreal. Congrats though! Whether we feel pregnant or not, we've got babies inside of us! :-D

  • I also did IVF! Congrats on the BFP it's no easy path!! I do feel tired and need to pee a lot but I also expected to feel more. Maybe because of going through IVF it raises expectations.

It's weird to feel so excited and yet also guarded and a little afraid to invest 100% into the feeling. Huge leaning curve for us all
  • Congrats. I'm just 4 weeks and don't feel pregnant and have no symptoms... Yet...
  • Symptoms are not indicative of the health of your pregnancy. I went the entire time with no MS. I know the lack of symptoms can seem scary given you did IVF, but try not to worry.
  • I am also 4 weeks, 6 days. I don't feel pregnant at all! I'm sure it'll come, but I want to experience something so I can feel like this is the real deal!

@lindsrobinson, I am right there with you. I feel almost completely normal. Dry heaved once or twice and have felt light headed at times but nothing major at all. I am just one day behind you and my HCG was reading at 2250 so I thought I would feel something more than this, but I am just reassuring myself that everything is fine and to trying to enjoy this "symptom-free" time while I have it! Good luck.
  • I'm 5w2d and no symptoms yet. I didn't have any with my first either and she was fine and still is. Sometimes no symptoms just means you're lucky, lol!

I am also 4w, 6d. The only "symptoms" I have had so far are mild cramping and in the morning I feel midly nauseous. Other than that, I don't feel anything at all.

This has also been on my mind 24/7 lately. Aside from mild cramping and being super fatigued, I feel totally normal. My boobs also hurt all last week and then magically stopped hurting this week. I'm 4 weeks and 5 days. Just trying to stay positive right now and enjoy every day becoming a first time mommy :)
  • Hello and congrats! Hcg numbers do not correlate with symptoms so I wouldn't worry that you haven't felt anything yet. As PP stated, every pregnancy is different and some people never have morning sickness etc. hopefully you're one of the lucky ones.
  • I'm 4 weeks 6 days and I am exhausted. Nauseous on and off, so hungry all the time, but my boobs are fine and I have no other symptoms. Every woman and every pregnancy is different, though. Congrats!!
  • With my first pregnancy I didn't feel pregnant for a while, it took weeks for me to start getting even a little bit of morning sickness. But even that was very mild.

This pregnancy? I felt like crap from BEFORE I even knew I was pregnant.

  • It is pretty common to "not feel" pregnant this early on.  The only thing I feel is mild cramping every now and then.  Give it a few weeks and you might feel differently.

  • I mostly just have cramping and sore breasts. I am 5 weeks 4 days. My hcg was over 20,000 so I really don't think the numbers have anything to do with it. Hoping I am one of the lucky ones but I take each day of feeling great as a blessing because I don't know how long it will last.

  • I'm 4w 1d and my boobs hurt so bad .... I thought that didnt happen till later but that's what made me want to take a test. Sure enough +! Other than that everything else is 100% like normal and that's a good thing :)

I'm 4w5d and no symptoms at all (apart from a bin full of positive PTs!) we didn't do IVF but we have been trying for over two years so we don't really believe yet. My breasts have had occasional tenderness but it's hard to know if I'm just psychologically making it up for a want to feel something! Can't wait for the scan so we have something tangible :)
