If you pray...

I am very new to this message board thing (only my second post), but since not a lot of close friends/family don't even know that I am pregnant I figured I would reach out to this group for support. I am 7 weeks 2 days today. I started spotting last week after sex with my husband after not having had intercourse for weeks. I also had an ultrasound (inside) a few days prior to that. I started spotting/discharge brown/pink 5 days ago. We saw the baby and a strong heartbeat at the ultrasound so I still have hope. The gas pain/cramping has had my attention for the last 3 days. Probably going to call my midwife again this morning to see if I can come in and just see about baby. Just needing some support and prayer this morning, because ultimatley its in His hands anyway. Thanks!

    That strong heartbeat is a good sign. I had spotting after sex last week that lasted 4 days, went away for one then came back. But now it's been gone for five days. All is well. Brown spotting is not usually a sign of bad things. Good luck!

    I bleed after intercourse everytime. Its jus your cervix is sensitive and full ov blood. Its very common I ad a scan yesterday at 9 weeks 5 days and babys fine even after many bleeds :) dnt worry x

    I actually had the same thing going on. Spotted for several days after the ultrasound. I called the nurse yesterday and she said as long as it's brown it's just old blood and probably from the ultrasound/pap. We had a good heartbeat too so she said not to worry. I'm sure everything is ok! I will say a prayer!

    Sending lots of prayers.

    Spotting is normal after sex. You likely just bumped your cervix and as long as it is not fresh red blood, try to stay as calm as possible. Also cramping from the uterus stretching and gas pains/distention are basically par for the course at this time. I know it's easier said than done but you are pregnant today.

    I will be praying for a healthy baby and a healthy and happy mama!

    I'm going to keep you in my prayers until you update to let us know how thing are (I have faith it will be good news!) try to get some sleep if you can sweetheart. I rested mama is a less-stressed mama.

    Prayers both for your pregnancy, and for you to have a sense of calm and to worry less. I'm starting to let go and calm down. I def think week 9 was my raging hormones week

    Updat: Literally within an our of your prayer responses my abdominal discomfort went away. Throughout the day yesterday I spotted pink but no bright red. So thank God! Still need to wear a liner but it never fills which is another good report. Spotting for a week with nothing "eventful" to report has to be good. Going to chat with midwife and see if we can do another sono to make sure all is ok in my body. Thank you for your prayers. They work!

    UPDATE: The midwife was able to get me in for 9am in the morning (instead of waiting until next week) for a sono and check-up on baby. High hopes and strong faith is what I'm aiming for today. I'll update in the morning. All my best,
