Sore and tender breasts and armpits still at 18 weeks...

My breasts and armpits started to get sore and hurt around 7 weeks and I'm almost 18 weeks and it hasn't gone away. It's worse at night and with both breasts and armpits.
This is my third pregnancy and my first pregnancy I had a sore left armpit that went away after my son was born, however my breasts have never been sore in the previous pregnancy. The swollen, tender armpits is what concerns me.
My midwife doesn't seem concerned and says its most likely breasts tissue under my arm pits and will resolve itself after the baby is born.
Has anyone else experienced this?

    I don't have sore armpits but around 12 weeks the breast soreness went away and now at 16 weeks it's back.

    I'm not experiencing soreness in my armpits, but at 16+6 my breasts are still quite sore.  My nipples are very sensitive still too.

    I had a very sore and swollen armpit. It even formed a cyst type thing. My OB wasn't concerned at all and it eventually resolved itself around 18 weeks. Try putting ice on it to reduce the swelling. Helped me a ton.

    Well just to let you know I had on and off breast pain and tenderness my whole pregnancy last time.
