Anyone else feeling great?

I feel like it is most common to have lots of annoying pregnancy symptoms but honestly, I feel pretty great. I've managed to not have any indigestion/heartburn, stuffiness, swelling, etc. I even enjoy sex. Not like 5 times a week but weekly. I've gained a ton of weight but keep reminding myself that women all over the world starve while pregnant so having an abundance of fresh, delicious food is really a blessing. My family is supportive and generous, my partner is wonderful and in general my stepson tries not to make me insane. Of course I'm tired and hormonal and it is definitely harder to climb mountains (okay, central PA mountains) than it used to be but that's all part of the territory. I feel guilty being like, "I love pregnancy!" but honestly I'm sad to only have two more months. Anybody else feel like a beautiful, pregnant goddess?

  • Haha I think this every day! I feel awesome! I really don't have anything to complain about. :)

  • I've had some heartburn & occasional minor back pain which is annoying, but really otherwise I feel pretty much normal! Enjoying sex as well about once a week, and do pretty much what I normally do non pregnant. Loving feeling movement from my little gal too :)

I do have terrible reflux but I had it before, it's just aggravated now. To be completely honest though, despite the reflux and back discomfort, I'm really gonna miss being pregnant. I feel so adorable with my bump and the attention I get is pretty awesome. I'm loving pregnancy a lot more than hating it!

You lady's are so wonderful! Totally blessed!!! I've got a friend who is 7 weeks ahead of me and she really is this glowing pregnant goddess.

Mean while - I've had anything but !!! Constant nausea, cramping, reflux, headaches, back aches, shortness of breath, start of preterm labour, irritable uterus and countless scans and test for a whole range of possible "high risk" categories!

You ladies are awesome! Live it up for me!!! Totally in awe :)

Its actually really nice to hear!! Can I live vicariously through you?? ;)

  • I generally feel amazing. I get swelling and bad hip pain, but I feel pretty darn good considering. I waddle, I contract, I pee, I fart. Lol. But I also have baby kicks, great skin, an excited family, overall good health. Life is good. No complaints here.

  • All of my pregnant Facebook friends are swelling, cramping, aching, sick, or otherwise. I feel great. It's been a very comfortable pregnancy for me (ftm) and I've managed to dodge heartburn and other negative things.

Now if only I could stop peeing a little when I sneeze... ;)

  • Every one keeps telling me I look great. My skin is fantastic right now and I'm not gaining too much weight. But inside I feel like CRAP.
Still throwing up at 32 weeks.
  • 31weeks for me and I feel amazing!! I have occasional hip pain or shortness of breath but another than that nothing much has changed. Obviously I have belly but I've added maybe 17 lb so far and right now I feel more beautiful than ever before! :D
  • I am SO loving it. I have the occasional heart burn and had a leg cramp (pretty much thought I was done for with that one lol), but otherwise I feel amazing. I just love this experience I am having and hope that it is the same in the future. My husband makes me feel wonderful too and he embraces my pregnant body which helps me when I am not feeling so beautiful. I've stayed on track with my weight gain and tried to maintain my normal activity level which has been a huge help come time for bed! I have noticed it is getting a little more difficult to bend down to get things and peeing in the cup at the doctors office is a freaking joke! haha

Glad to hear others are experiencing some great positives with pregnancy. You hear a lot of negative, but i'm sure we're all as thankful as can be for these little humans growing inside whether we are having a great pregnancy or not so great!

  • I've been feeling pretty damn fantastic.

Only pregnancy symptom I've had is heartburn, but I had a problem with that before I got pregnant. I didn't have any morning sickness, no swelling, etc. I haven't had any super crazy weight gain.

At my baby shower the other day all of my friends were gushing over how good I looked (it made me feel a little embarrassed, but it was nice). An older lady friend of mine that I worked with for a lot of years said, 'You bitch. I was hoping you'd at least have a terrible complexion, and here you are looking perfect.' I laughed so hard, I have great friends.

My boyfriend makes me feel beautiful. I think he's more turned on by me being pregnant than when I wasn't lol We had sex 7 times in three days this week because he can't get enough of me lol. I feel like a goddess.

It's nice to know that other people are enjoying their pregnancies as well :)
  • I've had a pretty easy time, especially with the 2nd trimester. Love the way my bump looks! However, the back pain got crazy once I hit the 3rd trimester. The bump is still cute though :)
  • That is how I felt with my first, this time I am miserable!

  • Yah!! Thanks for sharing all of your positivity!!
  • I am feeling great, down 21lbs most people would not even be able to tell I'm pregnant, no symptoms what so ever except sore hips. I always have sore hips by the 3rd trimester but yoga balls make my day.

The only other thing is I'm tired but its hard to tell if that is from the baby or because of my thyroid which recently has gone haywire.  I can sleep forever if I'm allowed.

  • I was feeling pretty great until 28 weeks. I was super productive during the second trimester and no major complaints but now entering third trimester the extra weight has slowed me down. I gained a lot recently very quickly so I am feeling the pain and sleeplessness now. Baby girl is taking over my body now!
  • Thank you for this. This is exactly how I feel. I love being pregnant!
  • I LOVE being pregnant too! I had a great 1st and 2nd trimester with tons of energy! I've been doing prenatal yoga and long walks every day! However, when I hit 31 weeks I started getting a TON of braxton hicks contractions whenever I do too much. Using that as an excuse to slow down. I need to try to work until the very end.

The coolest part about being pregnant, is being able to see and feel the baby move around. It really does remind me of alien!
