Dreams?

Before telling anyone about the pregnancy, I received a text from my little cousin: “Are you guys pregnant with a baby boy?”

I was shocked. We were only about 2 months into the pregnancy and hadn’t mentioned it anyone but the doctor. My cousin had a dream that she was visiting us and we had a baby boy with us. This dream was so real to her that she felt the need to text me and ask if it was actually happening. At the time, I could only confirm that half of her guess was right since we did not know the sex yet. However, a few months later it was confirmed that we were indeed having a boy. What a trip.

I feel that things like pregnancy bring on interesting dreams or maybe even a little more than just dreams to those around it. I even had my own dream/visit from my Grandpa who passed a few years back.  It was about 3 months into the pregnancy, going to the doctor’s office was one of the most nerve racking things I had ever experienced. One night after a doctor’s visit, I had a dream that my Grandpa came to me and told me that everything would be ok. The comfort and warmth that I felt from that dream was very real. Was it just a dream or a visit to help comfort me? I can’t say for sure, but it was needed.

First time dad-to-be, human to 2 dogs, Designer in California.

    With my first, DH dreamt it was a girl. I dreamt it was a baby triceratop. We were both wrong and had a boy. :)

    I haven't dreamt about this one yet. But I have dreams of my son in the future, like 20 years old, pretty often. I can see his face and he's grown into a good man. I always wake up happy from those.

    Anyone else with crazy dreams?

    There are so many weird dreams that I've had throughout this pregnancy. From having a little tiny baby to pushing out a two year old that was fully dressed. I'm having a boy but dream I'm having dreams of a girl all the time. I've been seeing people who have past away telling me to say hi to the kids. All I know is dreams get crazy during pregnancy!
