Advice for delivering twins?

First time mom, expecting identical twins any time within the next month and a half. I'm 31weeks, 4 days today. I'm getting a little nervous about labor and delivery/c-section. No idea how I'm going to deliver yet. It depends on how the babies are positioned as we get closer. Any advice from experienced twin moms?

I just watch a natural twin birth this morning on you tube. Baby a was head down, baby b breech. The posters name is gabeandjesss.
Maybe that will give you an idea.

There is a multiples board that may be able to give you more insight. i am having twins as well, hoping for a vaginal delivery, but also not opposed to a c-section. I am STM, delivered my son vaginally 2 years ago.

  • Awesome, thank you both!
  • My only advice would be to go in with an open mind - twin births add exponential layers of complexity and risk. Accept that the method by which they arrive is NOT the most important thing -- the fact they arrive happy and healthy IS. :)
