I was just thinking about doing some baking as well!! and scrubbing my floors!! 2 days over due and only 5 days til a funeral out of state, trying not to freak out!!
I'm due within the next week and a half, and Thursday we decide if we will induce or not. So today and tmorrow I'm doing laundry and cleaning up the house so its ready to go. I want to make up breakfast sandwiches, but that seems like a bit much lol plus its sooo hot.
I've been making clothes/props for baby like mad. Example below. I made waffle cookies last night and ate too many so no baking. My son sleeps until 11AM and my husbands at work so I'm patrolling these forums, thinking about doing Pyio, going to get in my 65 squats, might play league of legends, and take a long long shower.
It seems during the week when the kids are at school & SO is at work the days crawl by no matter what I try to busy myself with. I'm sick of housework!

That is super cute.! Andddddd what are waffle cookies..?
I'm due today and no sign of baby. I'm cleaning the house, running errands and napping. I've been on maternity leave for 2 weeks now due to elevated BP and stress at work. I'm also contemplating baking some goodies and making more freezer meals. I'm crankier than anything and ready for baby to be out!.
Thank you! I learned to crochet in Feb when I learned I was having a girl Waffle cookies are cookies made in a waffle iron. They take about a minute or two longer than waffles. 1/2C white sugar, 1/2C brown sugar, 1 1/2C flour, tsp vanilla, tsp baking soda (i used cornstarch), 1/2C chocolate chips, 1/2C melted butter, and an egg. They taste better w/ less flour but...don't hold well so i went with this mixture.
I'm learning to crochet, even though I'm having a boy. I'm making a potholder, but at this point (I have exactly a week to go) I'm having a hard time concentrating. I get 10 stitches in, then have to take a break and do something else, then another 10 stitches.
39+1 and today is my first day off. Its the first time I've been able to relax. I've done a ton of grocery shopping and made some pancakes to freeze so they can just be popped in the toaster. Planning on making a few more things to freeze over the next few days. Gotta clean my house. I still need to make his name frames to go over his bed like I did with DD. I have a huge list of things to do. Wish it was more nesting and not so much I finally have time so how much can I get done.
@daiseyc123 I'm in Maine too, the weather today is incredible... Wish I had some garden space! I did some yard clean up today with my DS. I got sweaty pretty quick though - I've got prego heat hormones like no ones business.
@MrsElizabethPlano - I don't know whether to thank you or lash out at you for posting that recipe. It looks so good but I've gained WAY too much during this pregnancy and do not need a quick cookie recipe...crap!!!
I got a little more swelling in my feet than usual today (borderline cankles!) so I put my feet up and played Clash of Clans for a while and made this for my door.

@chicago1985 burlap ribbon, wire wreath frame and some wire to secure it. There are a ton of examples on Pinterest. I got the blue and star ribbon at Walmart and the red stripe ribbon at Carolina Pottery. This Hawaii girl is slowly learning how to be country chic!
I'm still working - but yesterday I put together a grill I bought and grilled some chicken. Our last grill kind of went up in flames last summer. Looking forward to grilling a bunch of meat I've marinated and froze for once she's here. Figure DH will have an easy time with that and not get the kitchen too messy
Being induced the 23rdish and working then until the 22nd likely. Too tired to mark most nights, I try to do it in the day time and then spend the evenings cleaning or washing or folding something. Nursery is ready, and my bag/baby's bag for the hospital other than my coming home clothes (I'll throw in what's clean last minute). Picked at some gardening on the weekend, but it's not in terrible shape since I knew I'd be not able to do much in May way back in October, so I did most of it then.
Not due until the 30th. My DD's birthday is the 14th and her party is the 16th. So I'm trying to clean the house little by little without exhausting myself, organize things so I don't have much else to stow away after DS is born, and attempting to write here and there whenever I have a spare moment. DD still stays at home with me, though, so mostly it's me getting up and down every two seconds when she asks for something else to eat.

Today is my due date. My last day at work was last Wednesday. I went for a mani pedi, a massage, and even a movie. Cleaning the house here and there but at this point I am ready to have him out. I am so bored. It is not helping that my mil and my mom are here looking at me and talking to the baby saying come out now. And my dad is coming over today. So many people and no baby is driving me crazy I am tempted to go back to work.
I have three other kids; The youngest does ballet, middle plays guitar and ball hockey, oldest is playing ball hockey and ice hockey( which has me travelling every weekend ) and a school sports program. Dh works twelve hour shift work. My issue is not entertaining myself- it's finding time to squeeze it all in :-)

I have 3 older kids in soccer so I've got that on my plate pretty much every night. The days are the longest. I clean, read, watch TV and walk a lot. I also take catnaps to make up for the crappy sleep I'm getting at night. Days are going pretty quick but I'm due on Sunday and after that I think it'll be harder to stay sane.
Re: Ways to distract yourself while waiting for baby....
