What are some of the potential names you're thinking of for your baby? Do you have any preferences as to origins of the name or family traditions you're sticking with?

We're considering William (Liam) Finnegan, William (Liam) Finn or William (Liam) Kelley for a boy. William is the traditional 1st name for 1st males in my bf's family. We're 100% on the first name being William, but calling him Liam. We're all over the place with girls names. We like Addeline, Alexia, Bridget, Reagan, and Katelyn but haven't really found anything we're in love with..

All family names here. Georgine (Ginny) Joy for a girl - my grandmother's first name, please don't hate. Brett Joseph or Thomas Peter for a boy.

I like Ginny. It reminds me of Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter. I like the boys names as well.

@VexyMommy thank you! There is a new Blake Lively movie coming out called Age of Adaline - people may assume she's named after that. Wouldn't bother me, but something to think about. I love Addeline and Reagan!

I love William and Liam as a nick name

@VexyMommy we are petty set on boy names too (Elijah Henry- Henry is a family middle name for my hubby) but can't decide on girl names. I'm really liking Felicity right now. We are thinking team Green right now, so we need one of each picked out. I like Reagan too! That's cute!

Love Adaline it's on the top of my girl list right now. I also have Lucy and Finley. Our boy names are Declan, Merrick, and Finn. We try to stick to our Irish and Scottish roots for our names but it's not a must. Also both our boys middle names are family names. Our two boys names are Jack Steven and Tavis Roy.

Are you wanting to keep things Celtic? I used to babysit a group of kids named Killian Ray, Christopher Robin(yes, that's his name) and Logan Layne.

We have decided on Patrick Sheamus for a boy and haven't settled on a girl but we're leaning towards Emily Doris. I also like Doris Louise. (DH's grandmother's name is Doris)

If its a girl Beatrice (great grandmother's name) Rose (grandmother's name)! And if its a boy Jameson George (FIL middle name)! My DH isn't fond of my boy name, but I think it's because his brother loves the name Jameson,and would like to use it if he ever has a son! But my DH's brother has no gf and no plans for a child anytime soon! Is it wrong to use that name?

I don't have any boy names picked out but I really like Ansley or Paige for a girl. I like Ansley because both our mom's middle names are Ann and my middle name is Leigh so it combines those 2 names but with the normal spelling. Paige is just a name I like.

I like the idea of keeping family names but my grandparents have the worst names lol, even middle names (except my great grandmother Jane).

I like Reagan the best out of your girl names. I had a friend name that in high school and always really liked it. William is a strong, classic name! I absolutely love Kelly on a boy.

Our names are probably August something for a boy and Georgia Lynn for a girl. Well, if I can convince him to like Georgia anyways. I've been thinking about baby names since forever! So fun.

I am thinking Cora Ruth or Emma Ruth for girls. Ruth was my grandmother's name. Maybe Oliver for a boys name, but we already have an Owen...we will see. We are leaning towards English names because my DH is from England.

Love those names, I prefer traditional names for boys and fun less traditional for girls. Not sure what we are having yet but I love Summer & Maeve. Hubby likes Brody for boy but who knows we still have until September and plan on keeping it hush until baby arrives

It's not wrong to use the name in my opinion. My only thought (and maybe this is why your husband isn't a huge fan) when I hear Jameson I think Irish whiskey. It's a lovely name, but something to think about.

I love the name Gavin. I always think of Gavin Rosdale (sp?) the lead singer of Bush who I think is smoking hot. lol. I like the name Riley too. It makes me think of a girl with spunk.

My mom suggested Maureen Rowan which is very pretty for a girl. I also just realized one of the names I really liked together may not work with the last name. I like Bridget Reagan, but the last name starts with a B making the initials BRB (be right back.) Not sure if I'd be ok with that.

My husband and I have different tastes so girl names are still up in the air.

His List: Avery, Reese, & Zoey.
My List: Elise, Vivian, & Avery (I worry about Avery's popularity)

Boy names are either Miles Harris (Harris is my grandfather's name), Miles Anthony (Anthony is DH's middle name), or Greyson something.
