lately, I haven't been wanting to eat hardly anything. It's not that I'm nauseous all the time (just most of the time) but nothing seems appealing tome. Any other mamas experiencing this?
It was that for two weeks then in week 6 the nausea came full force - get yourself some Sea Bands while you can still manage to walk around normally! Jk, my fingers are crossed that this doesn't happen to you too.. xox
I was that way for two plus weeks. Now I'm almost 9 weeks and starting to get my appetite back. Still not craving foods but at least feeling like eating something again. Hang in there, it gets better. And when I was so turned off by food, ginger ale and soup broth helped even though it didn't "sound" good. It was bland enough to make me not want to throw up.
Around 5weeks I started not being able to drink without getting nauseous, coconut water and Gatorade in small zips was all I could take.
Now I'm 7weeks 1day and I'm honestly forcing myself to eat, I can barely keep food in. I've had the worst couple of days, snacking on salty things like nuts or crackers have helped ease the nausea.

Me too. Hardly anything sounds good. My husband was kind enough to make dinner last night and the smell made me so nauseous I had to go outside. I have to remind myself to eat because most of the time I just don't want to.
Yep, 8w today, I'm nauseous all the time, but it's worse if I don't eat. I have to constantly be snacking on rice cakes in order to keep my nausea at a 4 instead of a 10. I'm counting the days to second tri.
Yes!! Nothing is appealing to me and the thought of eating most foods makes me want to gag. Fresh fruit, smoothies and peanut butter crackers are my go to. If I don't eat enough I get a horrible migraine it seems. This started around 5 or 6 weeks, I'll be 10 weeks on Thursday. Thankfully only the thought of eating makes me feel sick; I can eat for the most part as long as I don't think about it if that makes sense.
I'm 6w1d and my nausea has kicked in with a force. I have no appetite at all, I try to eat a little bit and then the look of food just becomes disgusting to me. Saltines are going to be my go too for now I'm thinking.
Yes!!!!! It's horrible both the thought of eating and eating makes the constant nauseous feeling worst. When I can eat I eat as much as possible since it's rare. It's only been a few days and I feel horrible
During week 6 I started getting nauseous and any food turned me off. Eating anything made it worse (even thought people say eat something and it helps... It didn't for me)! I'm 9w5d now and I'm starting to get my appetite back. Some old fave foods still sound gross to me (LOVE seafood normally, now I can't even think about eating it). Meat still doesn't sound appealing... But I was never much of a meat eater. Fruit and pasta are my go-to foods.
At first I was nauseous and hungry. That lasted all of 6 days. Now, I can barely look at food let alone eat it.
My husband has officially had to takeover in the kitchen (thankfully we both can cook). Making even a snack for my dad at lunch is enough to send me to the bathroom!
Im 7 weeks +2 and I am the same way. I haven't thrown up yet. Just always nauseous and have to force myself to eat. I guess I've turned into a vegetarian. lol. The thought of chicken and beef turns my stomach. I do ok with cereal and milk or yogurt. But the smell of any food makes me gag. Ugh!
I'm 7 wks +5. Only very slight nausea some days but I just can't stomach any type of meat. I feel like I'm not getting enough protein. I try to eat it but just can't because the texture feels disgusting. I've been trying to eat a lot of peanut butter and dairy to help my protein intake but I know it's just not enough. And water is bad too! Gives me an awful stomach ache but I've been drinking it anyway.
6w3d and the nausea started a couple days ago. It hasn't been too bad. But I know what you mean about not wanting to eat. Like I will be slightly hungry but can't find something that I can actually stomach. Dinner last night was chips and salsa...weird I know.....not good but its all I could handle.
Seriously! Get me out of the first tri already! I want to eat, I know I need to eat, so I chop on bland food until I feel full. Unfortunately I love food and miss flavors more than anything, but the smell makes me feel like I am going to die. Luckily, I haven't vomited up any food. It has all been fluids hours after eating.
I am at 9 weeks and am relatively turned off at food right now. Although I may be starving at times. I'm also bloated a lot (I probably don't drink enough water). I also can get away with fruit, and maybe carbs. I'm turned off by most meat and veggies. :P
Eating is def a chore. Man oh man do I hate eating now a days sprite helps me. Ginger ale too. No morning sickness but def nauseaevery single day. 9wks.
Feeling the same way. The sickness is really getting worse and it's 24/7. I'm having a hard time contemplating dealing with this for another 6 weeks. HOW?!
Everything (especially meat) sounds disgusting. The only things I can really stomach are ginger ale, water, baked potatoes, dry cheerios, saltines, and little tangerines.
I was hoping to see people say their sickness goes away after 9 weeks ... sounds like it doesn't go away until 12. I have so much traveling coming up in the next 2 months, I'm dreading it now.
Yes. I just turned 7w today, but this started ever since last week when I turned 6w. Nothing seem to catch my appetite.....I actually had to force myself to eat.
Amazon sells a protein supplement for pregnant women I was thinking about getting because I can barely eat anything. Has anyone heard of this or tried it? It's called baby booster protein
I'm 8 weeks and the thought of most foods disgust me. Everything I normally eat turns me off. This morning when I thought about cereal and milk, I feel like this will be the best meal I have ever had. I never eat cereal so I have to go to the grocery store and pick up some today, wish me luck.
