Newbie saying hi

I figured it couldn't hurt to come here for support.  I am 29 and my hubs is 30.  We have been trying for a little over a year.  I am on my second round of clomid (100mg).  Have an appointment with a specialist May 14.  Just wanted to say hi!!  Also, when do you guys start testing for pregnancy?  I know it's most accurate to wait until the day of your period, but do you all start testing before then?  Not easy to wait :)

TTC since 05/2014

    Hi and welcome! I'm currently on my 2nd round of Clomid too and I did an IUI last monday, so I'm 7dpo. It's so hard to wait to take a pregnancy test, but I think it's best to wait until your missed period because you'll get the most accurate results. For me, it's hard to see a negative test, then it's hard when AF shows up - so 2 disappointments in one cycle is too much for me to handle. I am going to try my hardest to wait until after my missed period. Not sure if I'll be able to though :)

    Good luck to you too @jjmtwedding!!  Looks like we are in very similar boats.  Hope we both get the BFP we are hoping for and I can meet you on the January 2016 board!

    Yes, that would be great! Did you already finish your Clomid cycle or are you starting on May 14th?

    We did 50mg in March and this cycle (April) we did 100mg.  We are going to a specialist May 14 if I do start my period this weekend.  I'm not sure what he will want me to do.  The two cycles of clomid that I have already done was through my OB.
